I would suggest Scullcap, it is the only herb that is helping me get a good night, even more than Lemon Balm. But a combinaison of the two together would help anyone relax. I also use camomile and catnip.

it saddens me that you and many others are living in fear of terrorists. i don't think there are any herbs that can cure fear or remove the danger, but there are some that may help you to relax and be able to cope with it. the ones i think of off the top of my head are chamomile and kava kava . also catnip is a very soothing herb. as well as nettle, mint, all of which can be made into a tea. and there are others on this news group who can give you better information. best wishes for your safety.
