Guest guest
Sue, i have been taking DGL (deglicerated licorice... bad spelling) about 20 minutes before a meal.. and vegetable enzimes after and acidophilus in between.. i also stopped eating red meats, milk, fats, sugar, and do eat a lot of raw or nearly raw vegetables, Kosher soy milk that is/claims to be not genetically engineered, also drink almond milk. i do eat other things that i probably shouldn't.. i do not eat tomatoes and very few white potatoes. have taken up (since learning on this NG) drinking raw organic egg with milk and maybe a banana or rings and juice of pineapple and a little stevia blended in the blender about every other day or so. just getting off the purple pill and taking the three items noted above has about done away with the GERD. ...BUT i know it wouldn't have worked had i stayed on the above foods that i have been omitting from my diet for a long time. look up "DGL" and the other two items on the net. a drugist friend clued me in on these items via my daughter and later when they were working so well, i talked to him and he also says to leave the aspartamies and alcohol sugar replacements alone and i use stevia as a sugar replacement... been using it for a long, long time. good luck and let us know if you find or try this and what happens. love.. granny lee - cfsfm herbal remedies Tuesday, November 18, 2003 7:58 AM [herbal remedies] Need something for GERD Acid Reflex Hi I need something for GERD, Acid reflex.
