John. Depending on the circumstances, the answer is "yes" but mostly "no". Sorry to be so evasive here ;o) If you have a tumor that is close to the skin, the skin "can" open up on its own. If you have a snake bite or a spider bite, it will open the skin up further to draw out the poisons totally on its own. If the tumor is deeper than "just under" the skin you'll need to add Garlic and ACV to help open the skin up to dig it out.

On one of my breast tumor patients we had to add quite a bit of fresh "Garlic Paste" to the TDPP in order to open the skin up to get the tumor out (which did occur ;). Garlic is not only Nature's antibiotic, it is also Nature's surgical knife. TDPP if used constantly over a tumor will eventually open the skin up to get it out, but the garlic speeds up this process dramatically. Another thing that speeds up or slows down this process is the menstrum you use when making the poultice. If you use distilled water only, the chances of the skin opening up are very slim though not impossible. If you use concentrated, undiluted ACV, the chances of the skin opening up are much greater. If you add the garlic paste to this stronger mixture, you can bet the skin will open up without question.

Sooooooooo, it depends on the effect you want to create. Whether the skin opens up or not depends mostly on how you use and / or make it.

Love,

Doc

PS. You never use anything but distilled water with the Total Healing Poultice Powder as we are only interested in "rebuilding" with this formula.

[herbal remedies] Total Draw Poultice

I have a question about the TDP. Does it create an opening in the flesh, a wound, when it draws out what it being applied for?

If it was an open wound, I'd use the Total Draw Poultice Powder first for a day or two, and then switch over to the Total Healing Poultice Powder.

Castor Oil is best when used by itself.

After all, Oil still doesn't mix with water, and distilled water is the usual menstrum to mix with these poultice powders.

It is very common when I'm dealing with a cancer patient to alternate one with the other. One night, use the TDPP on the Liver, and the next night use a warm Castor Oil fomentation placed over the Liver with a heating pad on top of that.

Love,

Doc

Doc, since castor oil has drawing properties, wouldn't adding it help this process? Just curious.

PS. Type "Coyote" into our list's message archive search engine and it should take you to the story of my handling of a local dog that was attacked by a pack of coyotes and literally had a chunk of flesh taken out of his hide. An amazing story.

Re: [herbal remedies] Total Draw Poultice

It never ceases to amaze me when I find out that there are natural alternatives to things that since youth we are taught are the only way. Take for example removing the tumor you mentioned. We are taught that the only way to deal with these is surgery, chemicals, and radiation. Yet there are viable alternatives that are less invasive, less traumatic, with less long lasting negative effects.

Just blows my mind.
