Guest guest
Passionflower, valerian, chamomile, hops, lemon balm.. are all herbs used for insomia... Try a tea with one of these herbs... I would try the passionflower or valerian first, Suzijustdifferent4s <justdifferent wrote: Hi - I'm new to this group.I am looking for information on what to take during those times which are only a few times per month when I can't sleep.I have taken melatonin and it makes me not fall asleep all night long - i may feel somewhat rested but it is not the kind of sleep that i want. I have had this with other natural sleep products too. What do others recommend? And have others had the same thing happen to them? Thanks, Just D : )
Guest guest
Just D, Look into Total Nutrition... (in the files)... also when you get a migrane... try Panther Piss.... The female tonic in the files is good for overall female health. I understand that part about when your hubby is out of town.. I can't go to sleep either when he's not in bed next to me... Suzijustdifferent4s <justdifferent wrote: Suzi - I don't have any med problems - other than a migraine will be triggered by benedryl or a major change in hormones (like pregnancy or something - this is the visual kind of migraine - followed by several days of feeling out of sorts). I do see a naturopath and take the supplements they have recommended. I exercise 5 times per week. There are two reasons that I have sleep trouble 1- night or so before my period i have trouble falling asleep 2- when my husband is out of town.
