Guest guest
Welcome Sue! Panther Piss ( half ORGANIC black strap molasses and half ORGANIC apple cider vinegar) has lots of iron in it. Just make sure you are taking 400mg of Vit E daily with each dose. I would try twice a day. You can always increase or decrease dosage. I would also suggest you get Doc's free tape... send him your mailing address and request his tape... after hearing it, I would call him about your GERD. cfsfm wrote: Hi I'm new here. Just received my CBC results back. My Dr. wants me to an iron supplement, since my RBC and HCT are low, I could be Anemic. I already have a problem with constipation and I take Prilosec for GERD. Prilosec interferes with iron. Any recommendations on a good iron supplement? I'm also looking for a new Dr. in Michigan. We have one good one in town and he is no longer excepting new patients. I live in Western Michigan. Suzi Senior Moderator Protect your identity with Mail AddressGuard
Guest guest
Hi Sue, welcome to the list. I share much of your symptoms. I have been able to stop taking iron suppliments when I started taking the Panther Piss (in the files section). It is equal parts of Blackstrap Molasses and Apple Cider vinegar, all organic. I take three teaspoons a day. Another thing I take for anemia is nettle leaf and flowers, in a strong infusion a couple of times a day (the main ingredient in my special blend). For the GERD, you might try marshmallow and/or meadowsweet. You could do like I did, research the conditions with an angle of herbal/natural treatments, and come up with your own unique blend of teas. Here is a great website that has been invaluable to me......... http://www.herbnet.com/Herb%20Uses_AB.htm And this one is a good starting point............................ http://www.gardenguides.com/herbs/remedy.htm Hope these help. Best thing to me is blackstrap molasses -- take a few tbsp daily. Doesnt take good but its a great form and easier than iron pills, which can upset the stomach and not absorb fully Erin Tony Montana: Me, I want what's coming to me. Guest guest
Hey Kelli ;o) PP has loads of organic Iron in it, and you need the extra "E" to offset getting "too" much Iron. It's a "just in case" thingy. Guest guest
And most likely you won't set off any airport alarms LOL, but with some it can be a problem physically. Sometimes too much of one mineral can offset another. Iron can do this with Sulphur and a few other minerals. Copper and Oxygen (the most important) I believe are some of the other ones. The Vitamin E balances this by stablizing the oxygen in the body. With the regimen you've been through in the last couple of months, I doubt if you could overdose on the PP, but it is beneficial for you to take the Vitamin E as well. I always recommend anyone who is doing cleansing to take up to 1,200 IU of Vit E a day. This is also beneficial in handling free radicals. Hope this helps. Thanks for the response! You and I had spoken a while back and I mentioned to you that I was bruising very easily. Since taking the PP that has now stopped. Yeah!! I am not very good about remembering the Vit E, though. What are the problems of too much iron? I didn't set off the airport alarm when flying to Florida this past weekend!
