Remedies for Eye Problems?

Try the eyebright formula in the files for beginners. Are you still eating dairy? and how much sugar and what kind? What is the rest of your diet like? Soda, alcohol, caffeine, etc..

Sounds like a good cleansing is in order also.

I have a couple different eye problems, and was wondering if anyone had any remedies for them:1) I get styes frequently. This used to happen once in a blue moon, even when my diet was very poor. Now, even though my diet is MUCH better and I take many herbs and vitamin supplements as well, I usually have at least 1 stye per week, and they sometimes last 2 days.2) I have plenty of mucus in my eyes. I have no obstruction of vision, no cloudiness, no apparent sign of cataracts. It's more like an excess of "sleep", even when I've been awake for a while. It ebbs and flows, sometimes being nonexistent and sometimes being more abundant. (I have eliminated dairy in favor of organic soy from Whole Foods and I've decreased my sugar intake greatly. This has seemed to cut back in the mucus, but some is still there. I realize that a small amount

is normal at night, I was just wondering if it's an indication of something else that I need to remedy?)3) I'm only 26 and already my night vision is HORRIBLE. I am nearsighted, probably around 20/200 uncorrected. But even with my glasses on I often turn the wrong way down a road, especially while making left turns. This happens even when there is some lighting at the intersection. It's not a blurriness issue, it's a there's-not-enough-light-for-me issue. My fiancee, who IS legally blind and cannot drive, can see better at night than I can! My mother who is also night-blind remarked that I am pretty young to have this happen, as her night blindness set in while she was in her mid-40s.Can anyone recommend herbs/foods/vitamins, or even any other remedy that may be useful? (I've had NO eye surgery of any kind, not even lasik or whatever that stuff is.) :)Thanks bunches!--Jen

Jen, I do not have actual doses that I

could recommend with the Colloidal Silver. I have used it on my 2 year old

grandson who has pink eye and I just went by instinct on how much I got into

his eye and I only gave it to him once a day until I saw that it cleared up. I

used Colloidal Silver for reoccurring sinus infections. It works like a charm. I

am a future ex-smoker. I use all herbal and alternatives medicines unless I am

in need of a test and do not have cash for the Naturopath doctor. If my son or

I have something like strep-throat, we may go to the

doc and get antibiotics but immediately start detoxing

that along with plenty of acidophilus.

You did not say how long you have been

having this problem with your eyes. I will have to tell you what I experienced

about 10 years ago. I would wake up around 4- 5 am in the morning ( at least 3

times a week) and my eye lids felt like they were stuck to my eye ball and when

I opened them it felt as if my eye was being ripped apart. It would then feel

like glass or sand all inside my eye and I could do nothing but sit and cry. I

just knew I had some kind of rare eye disease. After a few hours of crying and

holding a cold wet cloth on my eye, I would be ok but my eyes were extremely

blood shot. I literally could not see when this was going on. I went to a

conventional doctor, he told me I had allergies. I had

never suffered with allergies before and I always thought that allergies

consisted of running nose and nasal drip. I went to 2 different doctors and 2

more that were eye specialist with the same diagnosis. The last told me to try

something. He said, when you feel the next attack coming, get up and take some bendryl, if you start getting relief soon after, will you

believe me that it is just allergies? So I tried it. The benedryl

worked. I later moved out of that basement apartment which was musty and moldy

and have not had but minor eye troubles since then. We have had a lot of rain

here in GA this year and there is mold growing everywhere so this summer I felt

very little problems. I do not take benedryl any more

but I do take my herbs and vitamins. I always keep the Colloidal Silver in the

house. I am not an expert herb farmer by no means, but, hope to learn more from this group.

Keep us posted,

Sandy in GA

Hmmmm. Don't know about that.

Adding the protein would chelate it.

Depends on the situation I guess.

Remember. Silver is a heavy metal and as such can lodge in brain tissue as well as fatty tissue. Furthermore, it can oxidize and form compounds. There is a point where saturation can occur. I don't know whether or not there are "Long" term effects here that are unknown. My advice for anyone using "Silver" would be to use it very sparingly. IE. A little goes a long way :o)

Gold on the other hand is inert to a very large degree, and I am extremely curious as to its properties in aiding health.

What can you tell us about Colloidal Gold Bill???

Best,

Doc

If your colloidal silver is a true colloid and not silver protein, it should take care of any infection. I would not use one with protein in it, however.

Well, my mother says it does... lol... you can take a shower and rinse with acv.. this will help the body smell... I never had anyone tell me about the smell to try the parsley..

But for acne try brewers yeast.... major doses.. it will clear it.. I used to take it as a child for that.

Sinus infection - total tonic, and herbal snuff along with echinacea plus...if need be add a few garlic cloves a day. Panther piss is also good.

Suzanne, Do you mean to take Parsley along with the Garlic? How long does it take to start working or would that be an individual thing? My daughter and I were just taking about that yesterday. She is having trouble with acne again and she remembered when I gave her Garlic in high school and how bad it made her smell. Someone else suggested parsley for the bad breath but does it work for the body odor as well? Thanks, Sandy

Hi Jen, That’s funny, Nutritional Healing is my second favorite book. I have it right beside my bed and refer to it almost every night. Another book that is as good but more focus on our Food Industries is “ The Crazy Makers” by Carol Simontacchi. I have read it a couple of times and will more than likely read it again. You can put the Colloidal Silver in the nostrils, eyes, ears and you drink it as well. For some reason, this sinus infection I have now I am having trouble getting rid of. I am about at my widths end. I know garlic is a great herb, but does anyone know how to use it without having such bad body odor??? Sandy

Hey Sandy :) To use the colloidal silver for sinus probs (which I also have from time to time), do you swallow it internally? That's a very interesting manifestation of allergies you had! It's true, most ppl imagine a nasal drip or hives or something. I'm actually not really sure how long my night vision prob has been going on. I've suspected that I might have some type of possible impending night-blindness a few years ago. Its onset was gradual, as has been

its progression. The mucus in the eyes, which isn't constant but ebbs and flows, has been going on for roughly a year, after having periodic problems with DRY eyes (weird, huh?) Congrats on your decision to quit! I wish you the very BEST of success. If you're inclined to & haven't yet, take a look at the book "Prescriptions For Nutritional Healing" by Phyllis Balch, she has a whole section in there about quitting and different herbs & foods that'll make it easier and replace nutrients/general heath more quickly. Great book--it has changed my life! I refer to it constantly

for a variety of probs. (BTW, last year, I took care of my own strep throat with: 1) bee's royal jelly, to fight infection. 2) cayenne pepper in soup that I ate while taking a hot bath, so I could help my body cook the virus from the inside and out and break my fever, 3) TONS of garlic, and 4) a benadryl which took down the swelling in my throat and knocked me out, though I try not to use any over-the-counter stuff, that was just a special case :) The last time I had strep I had the shot in the hip from the doc. It took me a month to get all my energy back

and fully recover. This time, with just the herbs, hot tea & bath, royal jelly, and benadryl, the strep was 75% gone the next day, and 100% GONE the day after that. I never missed school and was able to hang out with friends--and for pennies. :) Hope that might help someone?)God Bless,--Jeni Lauraherbal remedies , "Sandra Moore" <sanmoore@b...> wrote:> Jen, I do not have actual doses that I could recommend with the> Colloidal Silver. I was just reading on Docs web site for the recipes. I see I have a lot to learn here. Where on earth would I be able to get all these ingredients? I am sure that I would need to order them and I would want to make sure they came from good sources. Some of the herbs I have never heard of. I usually have no problem curing my sinus infections but this one is dragging on and on. Sandy
