Guest guest Posted November 9, 2003 Report Share Posted November 9, 2003 Gluten Free Quinoa Bread Ingredients: 1 cup Organic Quinoa Flour 1/2 cup Arrowroot Starch 3/4 Tb Baking Soda 1/2 tsp Xanthan Gum 1/3 cup Oat Flour 1/2 tsp Sea Salt 1-1/2 tsp Baking Powder 2 tsp Egg Replacer 1-1/2 cups Water 1/4 cup Extra Light Olive Oil Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly oil a bread loaf pan, set aside.In a large mixing bowl blend all the dry ingredients together; add egg replacement, water and olive oil. Mix well.Bake for 22 minutes then lower oven temperature to 325° and bake for 10 more minutes.Check for doneness by inserting toothpick in center of loaf. Place loaf on wire rack to cool before slicing. This recipe also makes good muffins.recipe courtesy of B.H.
