Guest guest
Sprouted Grain Bread Time: 3 hoursServes: 6 Ingredients: 3 cups organic wheat Poppy or sesame seeds 3 tbsp sunflower seeds Non stick baking tray For this bread, you will need a Champion juicer or some similar machine that can make a thick paste. Soak the wheat overnight and sprout in a jar for 2-3 days (longer sprouting makes moister bread). Make a paste from the sprouted wheat through the Champion (put the blank in). Add the sunflower seeds and mix together. Form into six flat buns, cover the bottom with poppy seeds or sesame seeds so that they move easily on the non stick tray. Wetting your fingers helps form the buns. Bake at 150 degC for 2 hours, turn and bake for a few minutes. Allow to cool. This bread is very sweet. As an addition, try mixing seeds or grated carrot into the uncooked dough. This makes it even sweeter. This bread is delicious with hommous.
