Guest guest
Perhaps I should not be posting here as it appears from the introductory remarks that doctors are not entirely welcome. Nonetheless, you may be interested to know that since 1995, I have been having considerable success treating a number of conditions, particularly eczema and psoriasis using a wheatgrass extract. I have a non-commercial website that I think may be of interest to health practitioners. I believe that wheatgrass acts as an immunomodulator, both topically and systemically. I don't know how it does, but when one considers the broad spectrum of activity it possesses, what I claim possibly makes sense. My site is based mainly on clinical observation of thousands of patients and does not claim to be a scientific document. I have included some scientific evidence that supports wheatgrass efficacy e.g. in ulcerative colitis, and I will be adding more abstracts from time to time. Any constructive comments and/or criticism will be appreciated. I should perhaps add that before I came across wheatgrass I had been totally sceptical of any " alternative " type of therapy for nearly 25 years in clinical practice. But then a simple grass changed the way I viewed and practised medicine. That's why I am posting here. Thank you. Dr. Chris Reynolds. Guest guest
Hello Dr. Reynolds, I would like to welcome you to our group. As for being here, well you are here so you are supposed to be here. As long as you don't try and convince people that allopathic medicine is the only way to go you won't have any problems from any of us. Most all of us have been the allopathic route, which is why we are here. Allopathic medicine has its place in health care but the system itself is sadly lacking in curing dis-eases. I mean no offense either. Just my observations of current allopathic medicine. Eventually, I truly believe, allopathy and the other forms of alternative health management will marry and produce a very sound practice, that hopefully people can trust and count on. One that is not hell bent on prescribing pharmaceutical poisons, carving up living bodies unnecessarily and generally making more of mess of peoples lives than they have created by themselves. We are all responsible for the condition we are in. We made the choices and now we suffer their consequences or reap the benefits. I do wish to thank you for your site as there does seem to be a lot of good stuff there on wheat grass. Welcome and I really do hope that you will enjoy being here. We are all here to learn and grow, even doctors.
