Guest guest
I'm lacking some information to make a choice in which water is o.k. to drink regularly. I have been drinking (i beleive reverse osmosis) from a water store " water to go " a franchise. Maybe it's filtered, not sure. Anyway, alot of you folks seem to be drinking distilled water 24/7. I haven't been drinking straight distilled = I read because all the minerals are cooked out and theres nothing left in it.................. Personally that sounds better to me than taking my chance on someone elses " equipment " I juice vegis once per day, a little meat now and than, I have an afinity to sardines - BTW what are the best sardines on the market ? all the mercury stuff really makes me wonder what it is I'm actually consuming. I eat eggs, and nuts, and generally good stuff like that. Am I getting all the vit/minerals I need from that alone which would make it o.k. to just drink straight distilled............. If distilled is GOOD does anyone know of a small apartment portable water distiller mfg. that sells reasonably priced units? Guest guest
Hi Pam, The minerals usually associated with water are completely inorganic and useless and/or damaging to the human body. People can only utilize organic vitamins and minerals (which means they come from plants or animals). These are the only assimilable nutrients we can use. As for using RO, well RO water is not distilled water but is much better than straight from the tap and most filtered water. Do a web search for water distillation and you will see what is available. There are lots out there and they range anywhere from .. oh I don't know .. maybe $150 on up Actually probably closer to $400 or $500 for a counter top model that will distill maybe up to 3 - 6 gallons of water per day.
