Guest guest
first off welcome!! second order DOC's tape -it is free. Go in the files and get the recipefor total tonic... make yourself some... take it every day. next, total nutrition.. (in the files, under Dr.IanShillington) Be thinking of a total body cleanse.... after you get the tape, you'll have more questions... A garlic clove a day would also be good. And doing a search in the message archives is another good place to read... Go towards a veggie diet...raw is best... there is a 3 day cleanse under dr. christopher in the files... good start...What does your diet consist of?? I'll write more later... I'm short on time right now. lagagen <lagagen wrote: Hello to All: My name is Lee Ann and I am a legal secretary for a temp agency in Belleville, IL. My interest in herbs and herbal remedies is very recent. I am sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I am also tired of my doctor playing with the medicines I take. I have been diagnosed with Add which I take 20 mg Ritalin Cr, I have high blood pressure which I take 50 mg of Toporol XL, I have panic attacks for which I take 10mg of Ativan, Low Thyroid 100mcg of Synthroid, depression 50 mg of Zoloft and I am perimenopausal for which I take Prempro 625/5. I am looking for herbal remedies I can take so I can quit feeling sick and tired. Now that I have bored you to tears with the litany of all of my ailments, I have to get back to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Lee Ann------------------------
Guest guest
Hi Lee Ann, First welcome to the group. Second, you seriously need to look at your diet. What do you eat and drink. Do you eat meat? Preprocessed foods? Pasta? Breads? Dairy products? Sugary foods? Candies? Chocolate? Lots of grains? Nuts? Seeds? Greasy foods? Fried foods? Cooked foods? Fruits? Vegetables? Do you drink coffee? Teas? Milk? Tap water? Fruit juices? Vegetable juices? Alcohol? Do you smoke? Do you get any exercise? Run? Walk? Rebound? Hike? Swim? You can get off each and every drug you are currently taking if you are willing to put forth the effort to thoroughly cleanse your body. Your choice. Guest guest
Well Lee Ann, Right now I would say your diet is your number one cause of your ailments. ADD is attributable to ones diet. As are your high blood pressure, panic attacks, low thyroid, depression, etc. As for the perimenopause do consider the Female Formula in the files under Dr. Ian Shillington. It just might save your life. HRT is deadly, deadly, deadly!!! If you really wish to quit feeling sick and tired all the time then you really need to clean up your diet. Diet is either your illness or your health. Your choice. Cut out the meat, cut out the bread, cut out the preprocessed foods (pasta, shake & bake, etc), Cut out the sweets (I know chocolate is a toughy). Absolutely cut out the sodas. No junk food of any kind. Kind of doesn't leave much to eat does it. Do eat as much as you wish of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Cooked vegetables are okay too but try and limit the starchy ones. Sprouted grains, nuts, and seeds in moderation. Lots of fresh fruit juices and vegetable juices. Look in the files and consider doing some cleansing too. Starting with a 3 day juice cleanse (filed under Dr. Christopher). Then bowels cleansing, kidney/bladder cleansing, liver/gallbladder cleansing and yes, the total body cleanse. You need to get all these drugs out of your system. Changing your diet and doing the cleanses will assist you with this and help you come off of them. You definitely need to quick the nicotine habit. Very bad for ones health. Yes, I am an exsmoker. No alcohol, coffee or caffeinated teas. Herbal teas - okay. Distilled water is very good. Do stay away from mineral waters as the minerals are inorganic and useless to the human body. All they will do is plug up your kidneys causing kidney stones or worse. Start working up to eating lots of garlic, taking cayenne every day, hawthorne is very good for regulating ones BP as is the cayenne. All these chemicals floating around inside of you will cause all kinds of funky behavoir within your body. This includes depression and panic attacks. Your thyroid can be dealt with by using Black walnut hulls. The green outer part. Very high in organic iodine. Make a tincture of it and use that to start helping you off the Synthroid. Sea weed is high in organic iodine. Do not use table salt with added iodine as that iodine is inorganic and cannot be used by the human body. You can handle all of these with a complete dietary change and doing the work entailed through cleanses, and fastings. We will be here to support you in any way we can, to offer you advice, solutions or whatever you need. But you have to roll up your sleeves and do the work. HTH, Don Quai PS -- consider changing to a vegetarian diet to begin with and go with that for as long as you feel you need to then go vegan. Then when you feel ready for it you can go all raw if you wish. Your choice. It has taken you all this tiime to thoroughly pollute your body so don't expect miracles overnight. This is going to take time. Maybe even years. However, you will begin to see results in only weeks. Do try and get more exercise. Run your dog instead of walking, he/she will love the exercise as well. The stairs are a good form of exercise too. Give your body what it needs not what you want and it will reward you with being healthy for a long time to come. - lagagen herbal remedies Wednesday, November 05, 2003 6:26 PM [herbal remedies] Re: Intro from a new person Don Quai, Hi and thank you for your response.
