Guest guest
How did you get the knot and what did you do for it at the time? I would start taking some cayenne for beginners. Guest guest
Angela, I had something similiar last year. The md (an actual *lump* made me nervous enough to go to mine) said it was a swollen gland and that my body was trying to fight something off. He said to do "whatever I do" (he knows I do herbal stuff) to help my immune system win. He didn't even suggest antibiotics - he knew good and well I wouldn't take them. I did max. dose of echinacea and goldenseal for a week plus changing my diet to mostly veg., easy to digest foods and it was gone, making sure I got plenty of nutrients. It was gone by the end of the week and I felt much better. It came back in a month and I did the same thing which got rid of it for good (this was about a year ago). I tend to go with the theory that my body was just trying to kill off some intruder and needed a little help. I wouldn't do the goldenseal for more than 7 days though. Jenn. Guest guest
Get thee to a cranio-sacral therapist, too. : ) Some osteopaths and massage therapists are trained in this. I could post a link to a directory of practitioners, but would that be a no-no on this list? I bet that hot and cold showers would be very helpful.
