Guest guest
I am not too sure how this would work out. But the other day when I was picking up some corn silk for my wife's bladder infection, I was told that it also helps with arthritis. Now, I don't know if that is RA or OA, I didn't have time to ask. Guest guest
I had forgotten about the DMSO and the MSM. I have heard about the panther piss but am not fully cognizant of what it truly is. May I please be directed to somewhere that I can read up on it? And I will make the assumption that the formula for the total tonic can be found in the files section of this list. I will admit, I am not as up to par as the majority of you in the list. I am more familiarized with what grows in my little wave of the ocean and not elsewhere. So forgive me if I seem to sound ignorant. Thanks for all the help Yoki --- Suzanne <suziesgoats wrote: > Yoki, > Try deep tissue oil...with DMSO. Also have her > start taking Panther PIss. (organic) along with vit > e.... Guest guest
How would one go about using the corn silk? And can you give any web links where I might be able to purchase some online. My friend lives in England right now, but originally hails from Barbados, so it would not be something either one of us would be too familiar with, I suppose. Guest guest
Cornsilk is naturally rich in iron, silica, potassium and vitamins B, C, and K; has diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties and is suggested for bladder and urinary tract infections, painful urination, kidney disorders, prostate dysfunction, water retention, and bed-wetting. Guest guest
Hi Yoki, Make it into a tea and drink it. Also, organic apple cider vinegar with tablespoon of organic raw honey or molasses added and then drunk once or twice a day will help as well. Definitely go with the MSM and DMSO or Deep Tissue Repair Oil. Also use a poultice of heated apple cider vinegar directly on the spine and then wrapping to hold in the heat or using a wet/dry heating pad on top. Also make sure your friend is drinking lots of water (distilled preferrably). Cayenne is another good herb that will help with arthritis. If your friend doesn't use it then start him/her on it at about 1/8 teaspoonful three times a day and working up to 1 teaspoonful three times a day over the course of a month or so. Get and use the hottest you can find. Can also use it with the apple cider vinegar in the poultice mentioned above. Guest guest
We get our corn silk from the local co-op (co-operatively owned health food store) whenever they have organic corn in. The silk is usually thrown away by the consumer. So we ask if we can "harvest" it from the cobs. They don't even charge for it. We dry it then use it as a tea/infusion. It appears to work better and faster for bladder infections than the traditional cranberry juice. As for getting some on-line, I have no idea. But I am sure that other list members that buy herbs and stuff online will be able to direct you somewhere. Good luck! JohnYoki Hanley <selahs_soaps wrote: How would one go about using the corn silk?
