Guest guest
Claudette, Try some of these sites to see if they can enlighten you more about bach flower remedies http://www.bachremedies.com/2001.htm as for mother tincture, all you need to know is that what you buy in the heathfood shop or wherever is called the mother or stock tincture. This is like say nerbal medicine in tincture form. It needs to be diluted to be made more effective. It is hard to explain something to a person who doesn't understand the mechanics of flower essences unless they had studied this and homoeopathy as part of a course. Wendy I cant find it anywhere. Can you help me Wendy? Thanks, Claudette http://search..au - Search - Looking for more? Try the new Search
Guest guest
I know that the ACV I get comes with the "mother", and must be shaken before use. That's the extent of my knowledge on the whole "mother" thingy. Johnmamacass wrote: I have heard that Apple Cider Vinegar comes with the Mother. Must be somewhat the same concept. Guest guest
Hi Leah, Can you be a little more specific about what you mean by a round piece? Spherical? Flat and disc shaped? What? If you bought unpasturized organic apple cider vinegar than it is a pretty good guess that it is the MOV floating in there or sunk to the bottom. MOV is known as "Mother of Vinegar" and is the culture used to turn apple cider into vinegar. Many things are known as mother. Mother tincture, mother of vinegar, etc. There really is very little confusing about it. Just think of mother as the progenitor of progeny. God I hope I spelled all of that right. In the case of mother tinctures more diluted tinctures are formed. In the case of kombucha and maybe even vinegar baby cultures are formed that have all the characteristics of the mother. Anyone know what it it? Leah ---Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
