Try pre-preparing meals (like on the weekend you can make up dishes that you can serve during the week)... more fruits, veges, salads... more juices instead of soda, apples, oranges kiwi, etc instead of snack food......Buy more organic product to fix..

I have recently had a resurgence of interest in a more natural approach to health. I have always been interested in herbal and natural health but have not always applied the concepts in my lifestyle. In the last 18 months, however, three close friends have been diagosed with cancer. It aroused my interest in a healthier lifestyle again. Of course none of this is really new. Every one knows that a proper diet of fresh foods, a sufficient water intake and a regular exercise program are good for you. The difficulty comes in trying to implement a healthier approach to my very busy lifestyle. I have four kids and a full-time, high demand job. This translates into frequent a fast-food, home-delivery, fix-it-fast diet, infrequent exercise and quick-result medical remedies.I am looking for tips to help me get into a more healthy

lifestyle that still fit into my hustle bustle world. Any suggestions?JA Martin

I like the *pre*pare idea. That can save some time. I've also started

buying pre-cut veggies, fruits, salads. That helps save time, but

they are also very expensive and are not generally available in

organic. Any other time saving tips?

I like to stock my kitchen on Sunday with fruit and veggies. I clean and chop up a bunch of veggies for the week to add to salads, add to my kids lunch, and to snack on during the day/ evening.

look up some once a month cooking sites and get some good ideas on what is good to make on weekends and freeze. So you can just pull the food out of freezer and heat up and feed the family.

Always add fresh/steamed veggies to every meal. If your kids don't like them maybe they will start too. My kids don't always eat the veggies but now most of the time they eat them first off their plate.
