Guest guest
No I don't think that was weird, tea contains caffeine and another substance (Starts with " T " and I can't for the life of me remember this time of night!), but it is dehydrating anyway. It makes you thirsty and you need to drink more so hence the more tea you drink the more dehydrated you get because of its diuretice effects it gives. The only thirst quencher on a hot day is filtered water as this does not contain chemicals, sweetners, sugars or other ingredients that may cause you to drink more or pardon the pun, wee more. Tea also contains tannins that can in fact over long periods of time tan your insides too. The best teas to drink are organic herbal teas. Wendy I never heard of that tea. I have to go look it up. I dont like apple cider but maybe I can find something in strawberry or rasberry? Speaking of tea, this summer my friends brothers daughter has become sick. She was weak and her arms and legs tingled and she got a rash and fever. They didnt know what was wrong with her and my friend started to think it was a spider bite because her symptoms matched that of a bite. (There are no poisonous spiders in this area but ???). Anyhow it turned out that she was dehydrated. It was hot and she has been constantly drinking iced tea and it worked as a diuretic and made her dehydrated to the point of having to be taken to the ER. Isnt that weird? http://search..au - Search - Looking for more? Try the new Search
