Guest guest
The ingredient list is: Chaparal, red clover blossoms zinc chloride, taheebo bark, inkberry (which is poke), galangal root, bloodroot, and arrowroot all mixed with vegetable glycerine. I'm pretty sure that's all. I am not certain that the zinc chloride was listed 3rd in the list, but it was pretty close to the top of the list if not perhaps the very first. This is to be used for skin cancer, or at least cancer close to the skin. I don't know where all it has gotten to. Maybe nowhere, maybe everywhere. But I feel fine so that's a plus. pj The New with improved product search
Guest guest
Hi Shirley, Most likely the zinc chloride was the number one ingredient. It is usally the highest percentage ingredient in almost all escharotic pastes, usually 34% to 50%. However, zinc chloride is extremely caustic with a ph of 2 - 3. The other ingredients are most likely in equal proportions with the possible exception of the arrowroot and glycerin. There is a recipe for Black Salve already in the message archives which only uses zinc chloride, galangal root, and bloodroot. There are many escharotic salves and recipes along with enucleating pastes. Do a web search and you will find quite a lot of information on them. Also Doc has his Total Draw Poultice Powder updated for cancer as well and it is very effective. It is also a whole lot less caustic as it leaves out the zinc chloride. There are other things that can be used just as effectively but with a lot less problems. I do hope this helps.
