Guest guest
Have you ever tried Kombucha tea? It tastes a bit like sparkling apple cider, and if you add a pinch of cinnamon to the finished product, it is almost indistinguishable. Has that "fizzy" nature (well, not as much as soda, but a little) and has health benefits as well. We talked a bit about kombucha tea a few months back, and I ordered a start off ebay, and am now making about a gallon a week, enough for DH and myself. Also, start drinking water. Drink it with meals instead of soda. Drink it between meals. After awhile, your body begins to crave it! Just like Laura said: "It may quickly become your norm and preference" A few years ago, my beverage of choice was coca-cola. Heck, that was all I drank. All that caffeine in soda is what addicts you. I am proud to say, that I have been "decaffeinated" for almost a year, and am much healthier for the change from soda to water. ....windflower The New with improved product search

My husband at one time was drinking sparkle water and he struggled to drink it in the beginning and like a week into it he became used to it and then soda tasted very sweet to him. See, IM a weenie. If I don't like something I will not go near it. I remember one time when we ordered Chinese food, the woman on the phone asked us if we wanted a free order of General Tso Chicken with our order because when you buy a certain amount they give it to you. I asked my husband and sinse he loves to try new things, he said yes. After I hung up I asked him what that was and he told me it was chicken genitals. When it came I wouldnt eat it and I didnt even want him to eat it but he did and said it was good. He kept asking me to taste it and there was no way I was going to taste chicken genitals. So then he tells me he was kidding and its not chicken genitals but now I didnt believe him. He gets impatient when I refuse to taste anything new. And there was the time he ordered duck, it looked like snake to me because of the way it was cooked. Well I wont eat a duck any how but by looking at it, it was cut up in a certain way and the texture looked like scales. ugh, its not easy being me. How did I get into this anyhow?C.
