SQUASH IN CREAM

Scrub squash (I use 3 zucchini and 3 patty pan squash) and cut into 1/2" slices. Saute in clarified butter until lightly browned. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and a dash of nutmeg. Pour in 1 can evaporated milk and simmer for a few minutes until cream is reduced. Season with another dash of nutmeg and snipped dill weed. Excellent reheated, too!
