For worms with my goats, don't laugh... I use cloves, garlic, black walnut hulls, I;ve heard of using pumpkin (raw) but don't know if that is just the seeds or the pumpkin meat also...

Help!

Last night my daughter went to the ER because she noticed pinworms in her stool. The medico told her most likely her whole family is infected, and sugested they get proper treatment. She has 3 children, and no insurance, and not only can she not afford the medicos, but the Rx as well. Besides this, neither pharmacy here stocks the stuff, but will have to special order it.

I read somewhere that Pumpkin Seeds are the way to go if one has worms. (I looked in the files and archives, and couldn't find anything here) Does anyone have any experience with this as a treatment? (At least this is "pumpkin season" LOL) I told her to go to the super market and buy the biggest pumpkin they have. (Her kids should enjoy carving 2 pumpkins this year).

Should the seeds be eaten raw? or would baked and lightly salted work? Is it the enzymes and active principals in the pumpkin seed, or the shell itself that works? (kinda like slugs and eggshells?)

Are there any other herbal remedies for expelling worms? Need some ideas ASAP

Thanks group!

Well, yes pumpkin seeds do work rather well. But they must be raw. Garlic (raw) works very well as does an infusion of White Oak. You can, instead of eating them whole, grind the seeds to a paste and mix in the garlic with it. Down it all at least twice a day. Say maybe a Tbs. Just remember the seeds and garlic need to be raw to work properly.

But watch the wormwood if you are pregnant.

Never fear, pinworm patrol is here.

The parasite cleanse is a way to go. Ground up cloves, wormwood & black walnut tincture. I think there might be something like that in the archives. Pumpkin seeds are also a way to go. Pinworms thrive in a more acidic climate, such as the one that eating sugar creates, so cutting our sugar (or at least reducing it) will give you more resistance to such things. Panther piss regulates the acid/alkaline ratio in your body so that might also be something worth looking at. Washing everything in hot water for about 6 weeks will help as well. Garlic ingested & used as a suppository is also useful for immediate peace of mind. Garlic juice inserted with a syringe of some sort is also very useful.

I hope this does some good.
