Angel Baby, I am ROTFLMBO, I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Sorry, I can't help you with those mold handling machines, would be great if I could just in exchange for the wonderful healing laughter. Bless you. Will await right with you for some good info on those mold handling machines.

So far, I think I have learned that one of these things will have to be ran all the time. I haven't seen any thing say that it will kill the mold, only clean it out of the air...or is that one and the same? Because I can't logically think of a way to kill it and keep it from coming back...so my conclusion is that I WOULD NEED one of these machines. I just ain't willing to live outside (where there is natural killers) all the time.

Then, I run into which one...I have found about seven or eight different sites with these things...

I feel like I'm hunting for the best way to take care of a penis...

Even though there all around, you got to know how to take care of one before you can and since I've never had one...well, I'm lost. And, nothing has ever happened to Dude's or Wayne's...so, I still ain't got no experience....but, if something did, it would be very important for me to take care of it correctly, the first time...know what I mean? I can just see the sight of going toward Wayne to fix his with a tablespoon of cayenne...He'd probably cut my fingers off and throw my puter out the window even if it helped and found out there was something that would burn less.

And, I can just see me spending five hundred dollars on something that doesn't do the job.

Dear Angel,

Actually, this IS something to be concerned about, but the solution is very simple.

Household mold can be destroyed very easily with ozone = O3, and negative ions. All you need to do is purchase a Negative ION / Ozone Generator, and this will handle the problem for you. These are very healthy for you and the entire family.

I suggest you do some research on these (they usually come as one unit), and are not too expensive = a couple of hundred dollars. If your new house is very big, you may spend up to several hundred dollars for a larger unit, but it is worth it. Whenever I live in any city, I always dig mine outa mothballs. I'd never live in any city, or a wet humid climate without one.

There are purifiers, generators, yada, yada...which one...?

This site offers good stuff, but the most it seems to relate to mold is either the air purifiers, or the dehumidifiers. The former will take care of any airborne spores, and the latter will reduce the capability of the mold to grow by reducing the moisture. None offered seem to directly attack the mold problem.

This one also only seems to deal with airborn mold spores. While these are indeed health issues, I feel that attacking the direct source would be more beneficial.

No problem. I am glad I can help. From practical experience, these types of products are great on mold, but only if the effect can actually reach the mold. In other words, if it is only surface mold, then they would indeed help. The de-humidifier/ozone generator combination is very effective. However, if the mold is also in the non-visible areas (ie behind the walls), then you need to drill vent holes at the floor base and directly vent the ozone into the voids behind the walls.

It is generally less expensive to fog the voids with a quatinary agent than it is to vent ozone into the voids. However, these are powerful chemicals, and I would generally advise avoiding them if at all possible.
