[herbal remedies] kefir results Doc

O.k. Doc you asked me to update you.I used some already made kefir, not the grains. I also wanted to apologize for what seemed to be alot of pre-posts on this subject on my behalf. I noticed that the digests were taking approx. 2 days to get into my mailbox after the time of actual post so I thought I wasn't getting posted. I was eager to get some feedback on proportions to make the stuff. Anyway, I bought this kefir on a binge and really, really liked the taste ! I bought some organic/pasturized milk, boiled it, and added the kefir and just left it in the oven for like a day and a half. It firmed up but was laced w/ small chunks, not hard, they fell apart easily on the tongue but my first batch was NO where near as smoothe as the storebought so overall I am dissatisfied with my batch. I will try again with some fresh kefir. I hucked my first loogie in along time, so the milk product made me acquire mucous. My gutts and intestines aren't functioning up to my previous "standard" and I'm sure it is the dairy. So I am anxious to get back to normal and in no hurry to injest any dairy for awhile. Is there a recipe for Acidopholis ? Tehehe that has always had a milder effect on my insides. I love the taste of milk but it doesn't love me, I think I overbinged this last week on this dairy, I'm paying now ! Next time I won't boil the milk.Pam
