Guest guest
Hi all, I have made the ear drops below for my pooch and they are great! (Of course with dog ear probs you need to find the cause also, and it seems they are often diet related, even on raw some pooches are allergic to beef! So while these drops have really cleared up my poodle's gunky ear the cause still has to be found and removed!) What I wonder is could these drops be used in a human ear with tea tree in there? My DH has had an itchy ear ( just one) for ages and I have not been able to find out the underlying cause. Firstly I tried 2 drops of Lavender Essential oil in the ear plus a small amount of cotton ball and leave it in overnight. He smelt good but didn't seem to fix the ear. Next I made the eardrops here in the files with organic garlic, olive oil and mullein. He has been having that put in just about every day. Course you have to remember he is an alien and things that work on most people don't on him! LOL - Anyway here is the doggie one Persian (author/source unknown) recipe for dogs is 3/4cup Dickensons witch hazel/1/4 cup aloe gel(the kind you can drink)/5drops lavender and 4 drops tea tree oil. Put in hair applicator bottle, shake well, after warming to room temp by standing in hot water for a few minutes, shake well again and gently put hair applicator nozzle into ear and gently let some get down into ear, rub ear and hold closed for a minute or more. Wipe out any excess with cotton and repeat 2x day.
