I had to add my .02 here....I am a complete advocate of homebirths. I

had my baby 1.5 hours from town, in a tub, on our backpoarch. Next

time maybe no one else but Pa needs to be there..anyone read Jeanine

Parvati Baker? check out her website for some extremly interesting

info! I think all the people and energy at your birth certainly

contribute to/if not alter your birth experience...why go to a

hospital when 25% of all births end in c-section? Or higher in

hospitals that are teaching hospitals? Stay at home! Get the mag. The

mother @ themothermagazine.uk.com ( I think)

If you are worried about what to do to the hospital personel should

they interfere in a way you don't want...why have them there?

Just my thoughts....

I really like Jeanine Parvati Baker. The video *A clear road to

birth* is really great!!!! She is in it and talks about birthing and

such. I highly recommend this one! You can get more info ion it

here: http://unassistedchildbirth.com/video.htm

Laura Shanley has a good book called *Unassisted Childbirth* and her

sites are: http://unassistedchildbirth.com/ {and}

cbirth/

Lynn Greisemer's book *Unassisted Homebirth: An Act of Love* is also

good. Her sites are: http://www.unassistedhomebirth.com/ {and}

http://www.unassistedhomebirth.com/fathers/

Enjoy!
