Guest guest Posted September 28, 2003 Report Share Posted September 28, 2003 Okay, here is my basic herbal cream recipe 60 grams Sunflower Oil 20 grams Avocado Oil 36 grams Calendula Oil 8 grams Beeswax 24 grams Emusifying Wax 6 grams Vitamin E 200 grams pure water ( I infuse Plantian, Chickweed, Comfrey and use this liquid for the water part. I also add aloe vera juice too. 40 grams Vegetable Glycerin 1/4 teaspoon Xanthan gum 1. Combine sunflower oil, avocado oil, beeswax, emusifying wax and vitamin e, melt and remove from heat. 2. Place the liquid infused herb water, borax and xanthan gum in warm hot water bath for 15 min, mix on low and incorperate xanthan gum. 3. Stir the oils and waxes together to combine. Then begin stirring with electric mixer. Add herbal water and continue mixing until cream is thick and rich. This dosen't take more than 15 minutes. This cream works for eczema, dry and damaged skin and yes even hemorrhoids. I had a bee sting me on my hand this summer and I had an allergic reation, my hand was red and burning and very swollen.
