I used to use cats claw and valerian in combination to help with

muscle spasms. Worked really well, almost from the first evening of

taking it (I took it every evening when I was having bad back

spasms). I am not able to get cats claw in New Zealand anymore,

more's the pity, as it really worked for me.

Cat's Claw is an immune system builder and is an

excellent suppliment. I have also known it to be

recommended to those who quit smoking.

Hi Andrea. I am new here and wanted to say 'Thank You " for posting

that the Cats Claw and Valerian worked for muscle spasms for you. Do

you remember the doses? Also, why would cats claw be off the market

where you live?

I have arthritis bad enough in my lower back that there is constant

pressure on the nerves, which sets off muscle spasms and numbness. I

am currently working out at a gym, swimming several days a week and

doing a lot of stretches. I use natural products and supplements and

am doing some better, but always looking for more relief.

Again, thanks. Val Thomsen, Texas

Hi, Val - I can't remember what the potencies of the capsules, but

they were both freeze-dried encapsulated, and I took 1 each. It was

the Nature's Herbs brand that I used (we were still in the states at

the time). I really have no idea why the cat's claw is no longer

available here, and the herbalist where I usually buy my things had

no answer either.
