Guest guest
Early summertime is 4th of July celebration time, which in many instances can mean frightened and upset pets in your home. Here's a tip to help soothe the nerves of your otherwise quivering feline or canine: give your fuzzy, four-legged friend a dose of Aconite (Aconitum napellus) as early as one hour before the rockets' red glare. The outstanding keynote for Aconite is: " Great fear and anxiety of mind " Your restless, anxious pet (or child, for that matter) will calm right down with a single dose (3 pellets) of Aconite 30c. Three pellets will be the proper amount no matter how large or small the creature. REMEMBER: with homeopathy one is treating the strength of the symptoms, not the size or weight of the patient. For my dog, I give the three pellets in a little cream cheese. She happily licks it up and then settles into a watchful, but not panicky, 4th of July evening. If fearful symptoms persist or return during the evening, give another three pellet dose as needed.
