Guest guest
My son who is 8, for a couple years now, has this yellow light crusty stuff in the middle on the top of his head. If you rub it with a washcloth it will flake slightly but it is too sore to actually scrub. I thought maybe it was shampoo buildup but he doesn't wash his hair every day and he does dump it straight on his head so I don't think that's it. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it? Guest guest
olive oil remedy.......apply the olive oil the scalp on days 1, 2, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21.....apply once on the above days and leave on for approx 20-30 minutes. I usually wrap his head in a towel, so he can lounge and watch tv or whatever. Then just wash out as usual. Let me know how it works. My son had a very bad spot in the middle of his scalp also and after the 2nd or 3rd treatment you should start to see results. Let me know how it works and if you have any questions. Guest guest
Marcy, If your son has excema, unrefined shea butter is a good treatment. Refined may work but takes a little longer, natual healing properties are basically removed with refined shea butter. If you can't find a local supplier, I have a few sources. email me at: liveomega Also, look at the American Shea Butter Institute Site, it has a list of resellers. They would carry shea butter that has been certified. Take extra precaution on where you purchase UNREFINED shea butter as if it has not been tested, it may carry some unhealthy elements. I use for dry skin, minor cuts and burns. Unrefined Shea Butter works for many skin ailments. Thanks, Madelyn , monica stevens <livingstone4life wrote: > > Marci did you get a chance to try this yet? > > monica stevens <livingstone4life wrote: Try using olive oil and leaving it on for about 20-30 minutes....wash out as usual.
