Guest guest
I just returned from a visit to my teenage daughter's pediatrician. She had her annual physical with me in the room. The doctor pallpated her breasts and said, good. She was done with the exam. I stepped in and told the doctor that my daughter found a lump, and we needed it further examined. The female Pediatrician looked embarrassed, and asked my daughter to lay down again and she said, It is a rather large hard lump for the location that it is in " (left breast near the sterum. Tomorrow we go for a sonogram. Zwanger Pesiri Radiologists said there was a few weeks wait but as soon as they heard " teenage breast lump " they have us scheduled for tomorrow at 1 PM. A friend who had breast cancer told me that I should got to a breast surgeon and have a second opinion and then get whatever tests are required. My daughter had a cyst on her kidney when she was 6 and they wanted to do invasive surgery but thanks to a pediatric urologist at Stony brook Hospital, we observed it and it is almost gone now - 9 years later. I used to give her castor oil compresses over the site. Any suggestions before I go for the sonogram tomorrow, Friday June 21 at 1 PM in loving kindness, Linda
Guest guest
Linda, This is a scary thing to deal with and I really understand. You've come to a good place for support and strength. I had precancer in my breasts at age 13. We found the lumps after I fell playing ball and ruptured one. The drs did a mammogram and found several smaller lumps, drained them and I avoided Chemo and other nasty cancer procedures. I never had to have surgery for reconstruction etc and I have not had issues since then, I'm now 45. Although I don't agree with frequent breast scans such mammograms(radiation is toxic in any form)...a sonogram is better. This is fortunate that the sonogram is available now. It wasn't when I was 13. If caught early enough there is a lot that can be done holistically with alternative medicine including Quantum Biofeedback and other wonderful modalities. Even if she does present with cancer there are alternatives to healing. Cancer is just a virus....you can get rid of viruses. A virus is in the body because it is a stressor and the body has become stressed enough to allow it to be there. Remove the stressors, balance the body and the virus goes away. Guest guest
Firstly-don't panic-many things cause lumps in the breasts-fatty tisue-cysts-----for cysts try red clover tea-with honey-twice per day for a few weeks-it breaks down the cysts sac so her body can reabsorb it, there was a posting on cysts not so long ago- find out first what you are dealing with and then approach it calmly.
