Guest guest
You'd really have to give more information than that. Like, how old is he and does he have any other type of illness? Diabetes will cause fatigue. So will certain other diseases. If he is in other wise good health, he might want to go and have a blood test taken. It could be any number of things like thyroid, adrenal fatigue (if he's a stressed type of person), iron deficiency (all fixable) or even leukemia. Many times older guys seem to get chronic leukemia and it makes them bone tired. It is controllable by a certain type of medicine, but it is terribly expensive. If he's willing to do a lot of life style changes he can control it that way, though it's harder and takes dedicated work. My dad has this type of leukemia but it is under total control with the meds. My friend's dad has this leukemia but his doctor said he was too old to start the medicine!! He was told they don't give it to anyone over 75. So he's just trying to deal with the tiredness by planning out his day and sleeping/resting a lot. But your dad's tiredness could be any much simpler thing, like not enough B vitamins, or lack of good sleep, or, as he stated--being malnourished by not eating the right foods. Samala, Renee ---- My dad, for the past couple of days, has been feeling under the Weather. He doesn't have any fever, stomach ache, or any other Symptom, he just doesn't feel like doing anything. He has said Something about maybe being malnourished a few times, but I don't Know. What does this sound like? And what can we do? Please reply.
