Guest guest
My dad and I have been looking into getting a hot tub lately, and I was wondering, aside from the obvious, what other benifits do they have? He has a bad back, and I have been working out, so I have been getting sore muscles, and we both have higjh blood pressure. Also, my dad has a stent in him, and I have a hard time with stress. I have been looking at this model: http://hotspot.hotspring.com/Showroom/jpgs/model_mallorca_emerald.jpg So what benifits could it offer us? Please reply. Guest guest
Hot tubs are not good for High Blood Pressure. Heart disease patients are warned not to use them. Many warning signs you will see around hot tubs will tell you not to use if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure. However you can both do Biofeedback to reduce stress and also for pain managment. Biofeedback has long been known to help with stress reduction and pain managment. Another warning is if you have high blood pressure you really should consult a doctor first. Also I have back problems and the hot tub really does not help it except for the time that I am in it which as I said is not very long. If you want to try one without spending a fortune only to be dissapointed, go to craigslist.com (a free site for buyers and sellers) and look what's for sale in your area. Some people give them away for free if you will just come and get it because they buy them, find they don't like them and don't want them sitting on their deck any more. We paid 300 dollars for ours but you have to have help to move it and a trailer to haul it on. Hope this helps.
