Guest guest
Hello Shanna, and Everyone, Fueling your body with the wholesome, health giving, " real " foods suggested in Sally Fallon's books is the single best thing you can do to regain good health, and mental attitude. The doctors and researchers tell us that our brains are composed mostly of fat. The fat that we eat is what is incorporated into our brains. If we eat trans-fats, (shortning, margarine, man made greases, and unnatural oils,) chances are, our brains will not work very well. If the brain doesnt work well, it cant properly supervise the daily workings of the bodily systems. I am a farmer of sorts, and as such, I raise and slaughter livestock. I'm 50 now, but my curiosity, and thirst for knowledge came at a very young age. I started conducting my own experiments when I was 13. My first experiment was to disect the head of a hog. My family slaughters in the fall and cures meat for the rest of the year. I wanted to know how the eyeballs are connected to the brain to create vision. Being able to see the world around us has always facinated me, so, I sawed the pig head apart, and followed the optic nerve to its terminations in the brain. I carefully examined all the contents of the skull, and tried to slice an eyeball in sections to better understand how that process works. That was impossible for me, because eyeballs are full of a vitreous fluid and the exterior membrane was too tough for me to cut open. As for brains being made of grease, that is a fact. That pig brain certainly was. Depression/Anxiety is always an imbalance in neurotransmitters, most often, seratonin, GABA, dopamine, or Acetylcholine. The cure for depression/Anxiety is to rebalance these brain chemicals using supplements+foods+goodgrease, then locate and alleviate what is causing the imbalance. Imbalances can be caused by stress, grief, injury, illness, TMS (TooMuchSugar!) parasites, and various other causes. Good luck, and good health, Janet Tee read my weight loss story at: www.ChoicesRestored.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ , <chilingoober wrote: > > hello, > i have started following the nourshing traditions cookbook and the companion book called the fourfold path to healing. i take cod liver oil in the amounts recommended in the companion book, and my moods and depression have lifted. i highly recommend it!
