Guest guest
Stress Reduction via Biofeedback. Stress reduction is non-invasive and you do not have to take supplements to obtain benefits. When the body is stressed, and you may not even realize how stressed it is, it can manifest in depression, insomnia, weight gain or loss, anxiety etc. When the body is stressed it will do all sorts of weird things and look like a lot of other diseases etc. When you eliminate the stressor(s), the body heals itself and you will feel alot better. Guest guest
I've been feeling pretty cruddy myself lately. It helps to get out and do things. I've been trying to spend some more time with my best friend and I've gotten in touch with some old friends from high school lately. If I have nothing else, I just get outside and walk for a bit. Things just seem to feel worse when I'm sitting around the house (although it is so easy to sit around all day without realizing it). Also, a friend of mine suggested that I try doing something new or difficult that will feel like an accomplishment when I complete it. I'm going to some job related training for two months that should make me a much better photographer here soon. Hopefully that will be enough of an accomplishment for me. cathtoday <cathtoday wrote: Hi ~ I'm wondering if anyone might have advice on alternative methods for depression and anxiety. Guest guest
Hello Dear Depressed Person, I am so sorry for you, I too suffered from depression during my adolescent years. I also experience extreme anxiety when I have to testify, fly, have dental work, or blood drawn. My doctor prescribes Valium to me to be taken only during these events. I frequently have to give testimony in court, and it makes me so nervous that I almost faint. Valium smooths everything over and I can do what I have to do. One prescription refill lasts me about 5 years, but it makes all the difference during these anxious times. Depression and anxiety are always caused by an imbalance of the brain chemicals: (listed in order of importance) 1-GABA, 2-Serotonin, 3-dopamine, (and of lesser importance to depression) Acetylcholine, Ephinephrin, and Adrenaline along with several others not mentioned herein. These imbalances can be chronic, and of long standing, or can be brought on in an instant, such as the fight or flight response, a mother protecting her offspring, orgasm/ejaculation, birth, etc. Brain chemical levels are in constant flux, never static, however, the depressed person usually has a lower than " normal " level of GABA, and or Serotonin. If I were chronically depressed and anxious, I would supplement my brain with 100-500mg of GABA several times a day, and 500-2000mg of Tryptophan, or 5Htp a couple of hours before bedtime. Along with a healthy diet, a good multi vit/min/amino supplement should provide the co-factors needed for neurotransmitter and hormonal conversions. If this does not alleviate your depression, post again, there are other paths to explore. good luck and good health to you, Janet Tee Read My Weight Loss Story At: www.ChoicesRestored.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ , " cathtoday " wrote: > > Hi ~ > I'm wondering if anyone might have advice on alternative methods for > depression and anxiety. Guest guest
First of all, congratulations for looking into alternatives rather than go the Prozac route! There is lots that can be done. One of the best things for depression, and one of the hardest, is exercise. Author Kathleen Norris in " The Cloister Walk " describes her battle with depression. She says her prescription was " Exercise and spiritual guidance " . I realize that is easier said than done when you feel so exhausted that it is a chore to put on your shoes. Anxiety can be caused by adrenal exhaustion, which of course would make you feel tired and depressed too. I have a few tricks for you to look into. Join Flylady. This wonderful person has waged her own battle with depression. Read some of her old essays on the website. No matter how you feel, you can do anything for 15 minutes. Life is better when you are clean and not surrounded by dirt and clutter. Lots of good stuff and it is all free. http://flylady.net St John's wort works for many people with mild to medium depression. Do consult a doctor if you are on prescription medication, and avoid over-exposure to sunlight. The next 2 recommendations are products I use myself and also sell, so if that is against your principles you can stop reading now. Kava Kava has helped many people with anxiety. " Kavazon " from Amazon Herb Company uses only the side roots of the plant, so it doesn't make you drowsy. It lives here: http://wildhealing.net Step 4: Nourish your brain and nervous system. I know no better uplifting brain food than wild AFA. It is rich in PEA, which has been called " the molecule of joy " . It also contains all the missing nutrients your body needs, in a form it can recognize as food. I have a 10 year long love affair with this stuff. Several people who I turned on to it found it helpful for their depression. By the way, one of my favorite moments in my life as a direct seller was a call I made to a lady who was trying AFA to help her cope with depression. She liked it, a lot. And: her financial fortunes had just taken a nosedive, and she could not afford more just then. But she thanked me for telling her about Flylady. It changed her life. A full AFA-based program, with probiotics and enzymes, can be helpful in healing " leaky gut " and allergies too. Food allergies can play a role in depression. You can find it here: http://wildwholefoods.net Keep it cheap and simple and start with an affordable starter package for $40. It is called " Original Essentials. " Look into the work of Dr. Phil Bate. The " neuro-liminal " CDs that you listen to while you sleep work much like bio-feedback, but for a fraction of the price. There is also a lot of information on the mind/body/ allergy connection in a free e-book on the site. http://drbate.com Learn Emotional Freedom Technique. This amazing mind-body technique is literally at your fingertips. This link goes straight to the section on depression. http://tinyurl.com/ytt8yo That should keep you busy investigating for a while! Guest guest
One of the things I love about the type of Biofeedback I do is that I can test supplements for compatibility with a client. If it's in the test matrix I know it's a quality product and then I know which product to suggest to a client. Because I already know it is ok for this person, there isn't a question of " What If? " . I seldom will suggest a supplement that isn't in the matrix as I don't know how it will affect the client. Reactivity, possible allergic response etc are already addressed. In my opinion it is necessary to treat the cause. Assuming there is nothing pathalogical causing cranial pressure, then the answer lies in structural imbalance of the body or is allergy based or a combination of both. I have discussed structure governs function before, so won't repeat it, if anyone would like a comlimentary structural balance excercise contact me please. If it's allergy based, the safest way to check is by applied kinesoilogy and do natural testing. Control these factors and you will be bright eyed and bushy tailed. Regards, Don Moody.. Guest guest
Dear Chris : Just a simple response to your mention of mixing and matching, you talked about. There is no need for that experimentation and apothecary's role if you are quite careful about symptoms, diagnosis and alternative natural remedies. Most of the times, believe me when I say, wrong prescriptions( often guniea-pig ventures ) and trial and error dosages create health problems rather than provide cure. You just may not believe this statement ,but it is 100 percent factually accurate. vridhasubbu1935 christine DeMey <cdemey wrote: This is just my opinion but seriously, natural is great, but ....who can afford to do all this mixing matching...and you are doing the same trial and error you do with " prescribed meds " .....Just curious as to how some people manage... Guest guest
---hi am writing a book on this very thing 20 odd different approaches to dealing with it an holistic approach and very effective its not finished yet but you may hvae the principles foc here is flavour but if you are serioues about this e mail me pho Depression protocol Hi well I do quite a bit of research and practice the art of healing , my research centers around the teachings and study of the Edgar cayce material , with added principles where appropriate.we have thousands of testimonials and results showing years of successful applications of the Edgar cayce material. Please make no assumptions aspersions unless you have studied the material at hand . I give this freely as it has been given to me Do this and I will guarantee improvements to you inside a day its that simple, of course getting these things in place c an be much harder. But we have personnel experience of the effectiveness of them and they do work. Every one of them can have an influence on you. 1. get someone to massage your back and legs at least 3 times a week use peanut oil or a mix of 50-50 olive and peanut oil. 2 use the violet ray 3 times a week on the other days especially on the spine 3.get a tent sleep out side 3times a week utilising earth energy see paper nature can help big time 4 ensure your diet is good raw salad once a day ideal or 5 portions veg or fruit daily ensure e adequate protein 4 ensure your thyroid is working well 5 ensure you do at least I hr per day some kind of voluntary work when you are able 6 be amongst people who are giving, friendly who have time for you who love you 7 be or get to a place which personally love or like 8 get and do some work which you like or love 9 ensure you do no acts which hurt or inflict on anyone –don't want to add to your karma do we !!! 10.get an radial appliance and use it 11 spiritual healing yes- but someone you feel an attunement with at a soul level otherwise you can have negative results making the situation worse. 12 ensure adequate protein women 60 grams day men around 70grams 13 adequate minerals all of them particularly calcium and magnesium iron etc 14 think good positive thoughts, laughter, comedy, music, 15. very often though not appreciated except by a few ,discarnate entities will try to bring their lower energies to you attempting to make you feel really bad , that is why using the violet ray will remove them and also utilising the sword of pure light moves them well too. Also myrrh the oil works well massaged into the spine. 16 avoid at all costs exposure to violence, murders, suffering ,death ,tragedies, this is what is pumped at us and they call it the news ..beware of films which have this too. you had better understand this ,what you witness can have an effect on you this includes the tv. There is so much of this lower muck around it is hard to avoid , feed upon good things , uplifting things, things that feel like a breath of fresh air. More- steer conversation's to dwell on these things rather than flow with someone elses dwelling on the muck.- very subtle this but you will find there is a lot of negative people out there – all dying to let you feel like them. Be careful who you with . 17 Positive affirmation- that's right programme your self in the mirror , thoughts are things words are things actions are things , all have influence, few people realise these thngs can have an effect on themselves using these things. Guest guest
Hi to you too! I don't want to say that this is the whole remedy, but it will help if you go through a mental list of all the people with whom you are connected, one at a time, and determine what you can do for them. Doing this will alleviate any tendency toward depression, and will also attract the partner or mate that you would like to invite. Another thing is that there are details you haven't been attending to. Find out what those are and handle them, then you will be at ease. Please send testimonial when this helps you, thank you. Omigod, I don't remember if I changed my signature. I'll go ahead and send this message anyway, and see what happens.

Dr. Bate has recently developed audio CD's for this for under $70. You can play them at night while you sleep. He says that it is similar to doing neuro biofeedback and is highly effective. See: drbate.com Other things to know about depression is that you are bright, sensitive and spiritually evolved. That makes it very hard to function in the 3rd dimension, in a world filled with daily violence, fear, deceit, wars, etc. It is enough to depress anyone. Add to that the stress and pressure of school, work, family and life and the expectations placed on all of us. So: 1)Remove yourself from some of the things that disturb you. TV, newspapers, some people, etc. No alcohol, drugs or caffeine. 2)Depression is generally thought to be a chemical imbalance in the brain. This is partly true. Eat better foods, organic is best, and detox the body. Get a vegatable juicer and drink vegetable juices daily. When you have one, I can send you a formula. Avoid chemicals and preservatives in food whenever possible. Soft drinks are bad for you, esp. diet stuff. Aspertaine, under many names, and then sucalose, are to be totally avoided. They are chemical poisons and cause serious depression. No microwares-they destroy the life force energy of food. Get a good vitamin/mineral supplement-the longer the list the better. Take it daily. B vitamins are important to counter depression along with other vitamins and minerals. Try some greens like blue-green algea or spirulina. St. John's Wart, an herb, is used in Europe for depression. It takes several weeks to begin to work but is helpful for mild to moderate depression. Exercise is good. Walking, running, swimming,Yoga and meditation are helpful. Are you sleeping OK? Use herbal teas to calm or relax at night and Melatonin and calcium to calm the nerves. Most of us do not do well with traditional medications Most are not good for you. They interfere with your immune system and breaks down the protective energies around you(aura). 3)Try baths to clean and detox the body. Salt baths are good. Dead sea salt is good for the minerals for the body. 4) Audiotherapy: I will send you more info on this. It will help you to get rid of the depression, learn better and faster, increase your concentration and raise your IQ 5-15 points. Indigoes love it. 5)Listen to good relaxing music at home all the time- classical is best. 6)Sound and frequencies can be used to heal. Read The Mozart Effect by Don Cambell. You can make your computer into a Rife type frequency generator by downloading the right programs. I have a paper on this. If you want it, I can send it to you. The frequencies for depression are in the programs. 7)Being on a beach or near water is very relaxing 8)Check out meditation centers and other spiritual groups A few more resources for you: Orthomolecular medicine-try the . They use vitamin/mineral therapies for depression and are very effective. Do a search on depression there. Read the book at:www.biochemimbal-behavior.com If you would like additional info, I will need more background: Ex: Date and place of birth, parents background, and some history about you and your family. When did the depression start? And where are you living and with whom? And what are you doing now with school or work? I can start distance healings on you with the Shamballa Master symbols if you would like. It is like a 5th dimensional version of Reiki. Guest guest
I agree whole-heartedly with you Don! Find the root/cause and the symptom will go away! That is what I love about Dr. Nelson's Quantum Biofeedback. Find the cause and you'll have your cure. Allopathic drs treat the symptoms. As my partner puts it in his blogs: It's like driving a car and the oil light comes on, in allopathy you put a bandaid over the light and continue driving. Whereas with Alternative/Holistic, you will stop and add oil.
