Guest guest
Hello everyone. I have a question. I don't know if I have yet ANOTHER skin irritation again or not. The outsides of both of my arms all the way up from my shoulder down my arms is SCALY and EXTREMELY dry! I have no idea why because I don't have any other dry patches of skin on my body like this. I look like a freadkin' snake or lizard woman or something slightly. I bathe in well water people. I drink a lot of Brita filtered city water. This has been like this for the past couple of months I guess. I can't figure out why at all. I am very prone to having skin irritations as it is. Any thoughts? I take chlorella, spirulina, evening primrose and flaxseed oil capsules. I don't know if this is related to the stress and depression I've been under lately. I am not sure. It's weird and it looks gross to me. Oh yah, I moisturize with shea butter and jojoba oil. I use dr. bronner's lavendar soap to wash with. S.S. Guest guest
Try using plain glycrine soap as lavender can be irritating. Moisturize with plain extra virgin olive oil. Drink more water with appropriate tension for your body. Flax oil by the tablespoon or coconut oil by the tablespoon. Forget the capsule you won't get enough of the oils to do you any good. You need it directly in the body not after the body has attempted to digest the capsule. I mix the flax or coconut oil right into my food after I've cooked it. Or into smoothies or cottage cheese/yogurt etc. Meditate 40 minutes a day for stress reduction, get out in the sun for depression relief and avoid all stimulants like caffiene, sugars etc which contribute to depression and adrenal stress. Find someone in your area that can do a health scan with Quantum Biofeedback via EPFX device, that can tell you what may be stressing the body and use those suggested therapies. When the body is stressed it can do all sorts or weird things. Jenny Kernan Quantum Biofeedback Therapist Quantum Touch Practitioner --- dontae980 <dontae980 wrote: > Hello everyone. Guest guest
Hi! This same sort of thing happened to me once. I hadn't changed a thing about my routine and suddenly I had this dry flaky unsightly skin in the same places you describe. I actually went to a dermatologist and she said it was an allergy. But I hadn't changed anything, I cried. So we started changing things. Started using scent free clear soap to wash clothes in. No Fabric softener. changed my soap to something mild and pure. No perfume...blah blah blah. Nothing worked. Then all of a sudden, one day, I noticed it was gone. I changed my anti-perspirant/deodorant and it was gone. I'd been using the same anti-perspirant/deodorant for years but suddenly something about my body had changed and it was rebelling. I would never have thought that anti-perspirant would cause this dry flaky skin all the way down my arms, but apparently it gets on your clothes and then rubs back off and moves all over your arms and upper torso. Try changing your deodorant. Might help, couldn't hurt. , " dontae980 " <dontae980 wrote: > > Hello everyone. I have a question. > > I don't know if I have yet ANOTHER skin irritation again or not. Guest guest
I have to find some glycerine soap. I did start moisturizing with plain extra virgin olive oil too. I really can't stand the taste of flaxseed oil straight or even mixed into my food. I may try coconut oil though. I am a vegetarian trying to be a vegan. I have been trying to eliminate foods from my diets that I don't need. I drink no pop, eat no bread unless on occasion, I stay away from certain chemicals and processed foods with the exception of Pringles (bad I know). I really believe it's partially stress that's causing this. You are right, the body does some strange things when you are under stress. Jenny, I don't know who in my area could even do this kind of scan. I live in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Thanks for your feedback on this. Guest guest
try a teaspoon of alpha -kerri oil rubbed in after shower as well as internal suppiliments--------make sure you have vit e in your diet-i make a mix of alpha kerri oil, almond, avocado and apricot oil-you can dilute it with olive oil or your favorite oil and just squirt a couple of teaspoons on at th end of my shower and pat dry- every one that uses it says it's fantastic----- you may add a fewdrops of scented oil to it if you wish- i am allways getting dry itchy skin-esp in winter-i know it is an internal problem but this stops the dryness-if i get too itchy -i add a little pine- tarsol to the mix Jenny Kernan <rainysnana wrote: Try using plain glycrine soap as lavender can be irritating.
