Have a DX of Sjogrens - all tied up with arthritis, autoimmune, condition.

Anyone any input on dealing with Sjogrens?

Plus arthritis of the vocal cords, which leads to Dysphonia. Have vocal

cord involvement, nuisance.

Also, very dry skin and hair. All part and parcel of the

Sjogrens/OA/AS/SpAs.

Input and advice welcome.

Dear Molly....the diagnosis of Sjogrens, as you know, is simply a portion of

your overall

autoimmune state. I strongly recommend that you seek professional homeopathic

assistance.

There are a number of homeopathic medicines that have shown positive results in

Sjogren's syndrome or which cover the symptom picture:

Nux-m, Tub, Tub-m, Silica, Brass-n-o, Lapr, Pert-vc, Dulcamara, Antim-crud,

Cuprum, Fl-

acid, Puls

Because homeopathy treats the person as a whole, it is important to get an

objective point

of view for your situation. Homeopathic treatment focuses on the patient as a

person, as

well as her pathological condition. The homeopathic medicines are selected after

a full

individualizing examination and case analysis, which includes the medical

history of the

patient, physical and mental constitution, etc.

You can call the National Center for Homeopathy to find a practitioner close to

your home.

I hope this helps.

Hi Molly,

I have not had an official diagnosis of this syndrome, but I am self

diagnosed. I have most of the symptoms including horrible dry eye.

The one supplement that I have found to relieve most of the

symptoms,(because I will not take prescription pharmaceuticals, unless

I am on death's doorstep) is Hyaluronic Acid. I feel much less pain in

my knees in just a couple of days, and my dry eye clears up, but I

take twice more than the label says.

There are many brands on the market, the $5, WalMart brand didnt do

anything, but the expensive mail order brands work great.

Keep us updated on what is working for you.

Good luck, Janet Tee
