I went to the dr today and she said that my liver counts were very high

and that I need an ultrasound and a test for Hepetitis. I dont go back

for a month, and my question is , is there anything I can do for high

liver counts, or do I need to wait to see what the diagnosis is? Also,

anything that anyone can say to help me not worry is good too, lol.

Thanks in advance.

Oh by the way, i was a very heavy drinker for 25 years. I am 45 years

old now, sober for 5 years. Female. Thank you.

Hi Frazz,

Don't stress your liver with dairy, sugar or caffeine. 25 years of

drinking is a long time but the liver is also an organ that given the

right ingredients is very good at correcting itself. Here's a list of

things to look into that have shown themselves to be helpful:

-alkaline water

-liquid zeolite (www.detoxqueen.com) to remove toxins from the liver

and body

-veggie juicing or Green Smoothies (see www.rawfamily.com)

-Hepeel ampules from Heel (one a week...just break top off and suck

out and let absorb under tongue)

-take enzymes with food or use In-Liven probiotic superfood to create

your own enzymes and fix bowel balance (www.goodskinforlife.com)

-use coconut oil

-ditch ALL vegetable oils except virgin olive oil

-eat organic and easy to digest foods like millet and short grain

brown rice and eat well chewed food only (at least 30 chews per mouthful)

-stop using any kind of chemicals and toxic materials in your home,

work place, on your skin and scalp (cleaners, air fresheners,

cosmetics, lotions, many types of vitamins, etc)

-ionic foot baths

-oxygen drops

-cordyceps mushroom

-other healing mushrooms such as maitake and reishi are also good for

liver but cordyceps is the best if you can find a good quality

supplement (Tiens if you can find a distributor is excellent)

This gives you lots to research and while you're at it drink a lot of

filtered water!

Hi Frazz,

Congratulations on getting sober!

Yes, there is plenty you can do to support your liver,

and no, you don't have to wait till you see the doctors

to get started.

There are many ways to be good to your liver.

You took the most important step when you quit drinking!

Stop burdening your liver with any fresh toxins.

Cleanse your colon, it takes a load off the liver.

Ease its burden with digestive enzymes and herbs.

Eat food that is easily assimilated.

You may feel queasy, and drawn to certain foods naturally.

I had Hepatitis A many years ago, and all I wanted was

grapefruits and yogurt. It turns out that was perfect

liver food. (I was pregnant at the time, that got blamed

for everything initially)

The liver usually prefers lightly steamed food to raw

food. Eat light, mild, organic foods. The liver loves green!

Whole concentrated foods like any of the bluegreen algae

are excellent liver food. The love of my life is wild Klamath

Lake algae, but other people thrive on Spirulina.

Do some research and see what you feel drawn to.

Herbs, herbs, herbs!

From the Dandelion in your backyard to Boldo and Chanca Piedra

from the Rainforest, the world is full of healing herbs for the

liver.

The founder of Amazon Herb Company actually founded

his company after the Shipibo curanderos healed his

long-standing liver condition.

I'd be glad to send you a sample of Rainforest Treasure Tea

so you can feel if the vibration of those plants agrees with you.
