Guest guest
Came across a comment in another group and it made me think of " tics " which I know some kids in this group have. Someone in the other group responding to a post about an eye twitch, said her doctor recommended tonic water. Apparently, from what I googled, the quinine in it helps. Anyone here heard of that and I wonder if it would help with tics? Chris in NC
Guest guest
Constant eye twitching may also be related to a decrease of calcium in the bloodstream. (medical term=hypocalcemia). Approx 99% of calcium is located in the skeletal system (bones) and approximately 1% is located in the blood stream, where it travels to other parts of the body for very specialized functions... (for ex., helping with cardiac conduction and neuromuscular transmission). Incase you wanted to reasearch more...another term for this eye twitching is called " Tetany " . Have a nice day.
