Guest guest
My husband was suffering for years from horrible calf cramps as he was falling asleep but was reluctant to take meds. His family practitioner, bless him, recommended 8oz tonic water before bed and he has been cramp free for about a year. Works great, evidently its the quinine in the drink, in older days used to ease malaria symptoms, that does the trick. Yep, it tastes kinda bitter, but he is so relieved he has learned to like it!--- In , " sarisalsa " <sarisalsa wrote: > > my friend suffers from the same thing, her doctors told her to drink > tonic water. something in it helps that particular nerve. her eye > stop twitching. the only thing is.........is nasty to drink...... > good > luck > --- In > , " cathleensp " <cathleen@> wrote: > > > > I suggest Ignatia amara 30c, three pellets under the tonue, once > daily for 3 days. Guest guest
if you don't like tonic water-add it to your favorite juice-----or find out what else has quinninne in it and go for it-firstly find out the side effects of too much quinninne--- i am not sure but I have a vague recolection it may effect the bone density---but that could be untrue-just look it up on the net and perhaps some others on this site may know----- a little is ok but just don't over do it.--i don't think carbonated drinks are very good for you over all.
