Guest guest
You can also use a warm wet washcloth and leave it on till it cools and warm it back up again. This will help to bring the stye to a head and help it to drain. Don Quai The bread will do the same but heck, why waste good bread when a washcloth will work. - Suzanne herbal remedies Thursday, October 16, 2003 6:08 PM RE: [herbal remedies] Stye eyebright formula in the files... Guest guest
Jennifer, I realize this sounds folkloric and silly, but I've seen it work. With your finger, rub on the side of your nose or behind your ear, and touch that finger to the sty. Guest guest
Hello All, If anyone can help my 9 yr old daughter, she has a stye that will not go away. I have given homeopathic and we use hot compresses. I am now trying Oil of Oregano daily. And Vita C. Any ideas are welcome. Bless you Sheree
Guest guest
Sheree - put several drops of castor oil on a bandaid and place across the eye touching the stye. Next morning you will see pus and gunk on the bandaid where the oil is doing its job. Repeat the procedure every night until stye is gone. It definitely works. When patients of mine have canker sores and--in the way of treatment--they are " doing everything right, " the healing may not occur until the C-spine is corrected with chiropractic, as the subluxated spine spells disruption of the normal nerve supply. Afterwards, the healing occurs unremarkably. I suggest you have her neck checked for subluxations by a local D.C. I like this to be likely in your daughter's case. --T.C.Halle, D.C. Guest guest
Witch Hazel compresses help to reduce the swelling and inflammation and is also an anticeptic action. Soak a cotton ball and hold over eye for several minutes several times a day. It also works for the swelling from mosquito bits, stings etc. I've done this with my kids and my mother used it on us as kids. Guest guest
My Dear Sheree. For your daughter stye problem, best remedy is homoeopathy. Purchase Staphisagaria - 200 min 11ml bottle. Give 3 drops in the morning and bed time for few days. Pain will subside and stye will vanish. Any query you can log me on subratadashomoeo Dr. Subrata Das Shillong >Jenny Kernan <rainysnana > > >Re: STYE >Wed, 4 Apr 2007 20:39:13 -0700 (PDT) > >Witch Hazel compresses help to reduce the swelling and >inflammation and is also an anticeptic action. Guest guest
That is very true! Almost every client I work on has needed the Spinal Energy Flow corrected before the signals could get to the proper receivers! So this is a standard practice now with clients using the Spinal Therapy program on my SCIO. Guest guest
Dear Sheree.....in regard to homeopathy and styes, the most common remedies are: Pulsatilla, Hepar sulph calc, Apis, Graphites, Staphysagria. As you know, one matches the remedy to the specific symptoms of the condition and the individual's behavior and/or temperment during the acute condition. Homeopathy: an art and a science. :-) Cathleen Springer Certified Homeopath/ Homeopathy Teleseminar Training , " slivermoon22 " <slivermoon22 wrote: > > Hello All, > > If anyone can help my 9 yr old daughter, she has a stye that will not > go away.
