Guest guest
Yes, they can and sometimes they are forgotten that they are there. It is called Toxic Shock Syndrome that comes from the infection that can happen from a tampon left in too long. Guest guest
Unicity has Wild Yam Cream which does contain progesterone in addition to the Wild Yam. Guest guest
The bottom of the feet, if you can tolerate the feeling, is one of the places the body absorbs stuff the fastest. So is the palm of the hand...so maybe trying to rub the cream in there, and then placing a pair of old socks on your feet would be another option. Another thing to consider, if there is such a creature out there and the price isn't too high, would be to use a sublingual pill, or a pill which will dissolve under the tongue. Not only does that technique give you a bit more control over the dosage you receive, but that particular delivery is perhaps one of if not the fastest way for the body to absorb anything, short of directly injecting it into the bloodstream. Just a thought or two... Guest guest
Jolene, Progesterone cream is something you can buy over the counter, usually in health stores. Be careful in selecting one though... there are good ones and bad ones. Check out Dr. Lee's books to see his recommendations for finding a quality cream. Guest guest
Sorry Jenny, but Wild Yam is merely a precurser to progesterone cream. It doesn't cut it! (Unless of course your symptoms are very mild and you decide it works!) To be truly effective and offer the many benefits of progesterone cream, there is a special " micronization " process required which takes place in a lab. If this has occured, you'll see " USP " on the label. Michelle http://www.HolisticMenopause.com Jenny wrote: Unicity has Wild Yam Cream which does contain progesterone in addition to the Wild Yam. Guest guest
Hi, Khushroo -- I've have had extremely painful menstrual cramping for most of my like (I'm 42), but when I started oil pulling about 8 months ago, the pain is nowhere near as bad, and I can actually function through it without pain relievers. At its worst, I use use a hot water bottle for the pain. Much more manageable! hth, Andrea NZ On 15/04/2007, at 12:29 PM, cheryl bullock wrote: > hot water bottles-on back and front-----soothes me! > > kdubash <kdubash wrote: My daughter, 18, gets severe > cramps during her mentrual periods. Guest guest
Hot soaks and hot water bottles never worked for me, neither did exercise. 3 days out of the month I was bed ridden and in horrible pain. The only things that helped was an herbal supplement by Enrich called PMS Aid, which they no longer make and Unicity's Wild Yam cream.
