Guest guest
Hi Cheryl - This came up in dog and horse groups. The extruded foods being made by 'a' company for the pet food market were found to contain toxins which so contaminated the foods that dogs were dying. More than two animals have been so poisoned. The problem is widespread in the US - have not seen nor heard any of the same here in the UK. Fraid I deleted the info, but it is serious. I feed raw to my dog and cat. Don't buy that extruded rubbish - nor those revolting 'treats'. Have too much regard for the health of my animals. Check out the book - by an Australian vet (very sound): 'Give Your Dog A Bone' and the website: 'Raw Meaty Bones' - way to go.
