Guest guest Posted March 23, 2007 Report Share Posted March 23, 2007 Taking supplements will help...but not remove the underlying issues of why the person is experiencing panic attacks, anxiety, stress etc. Removing and correcting those underlying issues will permanently remove without the need to continuously take supplementation for MOST issues. Stress is the cause of 95% of Dis-Ease in the body. When you remove or reduce the stress, the issue goes away. As a Biofeedback Therapist...I see clients all the time that tell me they are not stressed and their tests go off the charts! They aren't even aware of what stress is...they have lived with it so long they have adapted to it and now they are paying the price with ill health and dis-ease in the body. We visualize stress as over anxious, worn out, on edge, pulling hair out etc. It's a whole lot more than that. The body can react in many different ways and stress is a reaction to a stimulous. When we eat poorly i.e. junk food, the body stress reactivity would be: adrenals are bumping up production of insulin to reduce the sugars, the gall bladder is working overtime to break down the fats( those that can't be removed are stored-creating more toxicity -yuck), the brain is going haywire with the empty toxic carbs it is being fed. Results: stress on organs! Eventually the brain become foggy and headachy, the gall bladder is clogged, resulting in gall stones or worse it has to be removed, the body developes diabetes...this is the direct result of ignoring the original alarm and adapting to the alarm(reaction and stress)...therefore creating Dis-ease in the body. When you get long term dis-ease etc it is a long term issue that is not resolved. It will not be resolved overnight. It took time to obtain the problem and time to heal...however it won't take as long to get rid of as it did to get it. You use supplementation to help in the detox, regulation and healing of the body. Once healed the body doesn't require the supplements. So where do you start? Become aware! Identify what causes the stress and then taking the steps to correct it, remove it, reduce it, detox it, rebuild and repair it. Then love your body and self enough to stay aware and listen to your body...it does talk to you..you just have to learn how to listen to it.
