Guest guest
I have had serious neck and shoulder cramps for a few years. I don't know why. I have been to a chiropractor for over two years but I still have the cramps they are not as bad as a few years ago but somedays are still unbearable. It is so bad sometimes that I can't lift my arms up over my head in the mornings, turn my head much or move my shoulders. It gives me a spliting headace too. Does anyone know of something without animal products that might help. Eveything I have found so far has lactose in it. I need something with out that. So far I haven't used anything for pain, although sometimes my family tries to get me to the hospital, but I don't want to go, so they (docs & meds)can give me all kinds of extra problems. If anyone knows of something that might help I would love to hear it. Lauren
Guest guest
I would suggest craniosacral therapy or massage.I don't know if any massage would help, but my massage therapist uses a number of different techniques and I'm sure she would have something that would help. Guest guest
Hi Lauren, You might want to try a supplement called serrapeptase to help your neck and shoulder pain. I've been using it for approximately six weeks for chronic lower back pain and hip pain, and so far the results seem generally positive. It hasn't completely eliminated my pain but it has reduced the pain to a much more tolerable level. Serrapeptase is available from a variety of manufacturers at most vitamin stores (retail or online), and the price varies greatly from one place to the next so it's worth looking around on the internet for the lowest price. Regards, Kris

Guest guest
You could be having cervical spondylosis. This can be easily diagnosed. The treatment is exercise, specific Yogic asanas, homoepathic medicines etc. Really quite simple. The discomfort is easily removed with being regular in exercise. love Vik emanuel martins <kioma58 Wednesday, March 21, 2007 7:43:45 PM Re: neck cramps question did you trie massage therapy...it works, I knew the person with same problem and now she is doing well Lauren <bggllw > escreveu: I have had serious neck and shoulder cramps for a few years. Guest guest
Aside from the fact of the cramps themselves which may be immediately received by a slight muscle relaxer or other alternative calmatives....I'm sure you also are likely to have major trigger point issues going on. These trigger points are localized spots along the head and shoulder that hurt a bit more and when you press on them will really hurt but they are the spots you need to apply acupressure to for a " muscle release " . I have experimented with a number of items in an attempt to relieve my pains as well in this area... and I've stocked my arsenal with lidocain ointment ( for kick ass pain) , two tennis balls encapsulated in a stocking ( for paying upon for acupressure treatment) and a heating item or two..( infrared, massage etc.) . Between all of these at any given times relief from severe head , neck pain can be had and subsequent muscle relaxation can be had slowly but surely... medusa - " Lauren " <bggllw Tuesday, March 20, 2007 11:28 AM neck cramps question >I have had serious neck and shoulder cramps for a few years.
