Dear members,

Hello.

My friend has an Ulcer problem for past 3 years. Can anyone suggest herbal,

ayurvedic or any other alternative treatment for an early recovery.

Thanks

I think they have recently discovered some ulcers are started by a virus or

bacteria----so it will need some thing to shift it--------naturally i would

suggest 10 days of garlic 3-4 times per day ( no longer than 10 days as it may

over load the liver) then try slipperry elm -4 times daily - ( first thing in

the morning after a class of water and esp just before bed) -do this for 16

weeks, he must continue this for the full 16 weeks- the ulcer needs to be

covered with the slippery elm to prevent acid eating into it-it also has

calcium which helps. However i believe there are 2 different types of ulcers and

i am sure there are other heavier duty remediies that will help but these

things will aid in the recovery--if he misses one day -he must start the 16 week

regeime again- if he starts another treatment then the s . elm may cover the

bacteria as well so ask first.Rajeev Raj <rajeev2004in2005 wrote:

Stomach issues usually stend from relationship oriented issues, even

father-mother-child, husband-wife, same-gender partners, when the individual

internalizes and feels they have no voice this can result. In other words, it

has to do with being nurtured or more precisely the lack of it.

Also, stay AWAY from curries, tomato, acids, and eat more neutral foods - inc.

rice which is soothing and easy to digest - surprisingly dairy produces can

irritate the digestive system.

I had ulcers off an on for years. Now I drink One

glass of red wine at night. It not only clears up the

ulcers but takes care of acid reflux too.

day. you can get juice too. i would suggest it for anyone with stomach
