Guest guest
My parents are aged and also heart patients who are taking variety of medicines .They face a problem while taking the tablets. For example when they start taking the tablets from a strip of 10 tablets after taking 4 or 5 tablets they are not able to identify the tablets name since the names were either too small to read or it is not continuously printed. Especial the people are old and when they take variety of tablets it becomes very dangerous .Can any one help to sort out the matter with drug manufacturers? Guest guest
I have nothing to do with the drug manufactures, but if your parents are taking any of their medicines on a regular basis there are great pill boxes. They cost around $8 here in the drug store, but sometimes you can find them cheaper in other stores. They have a 7 day arrangement across the box and 4 rows down, labels (the 7 across) Sunday through Monday and the 4 rows down are breakfast, lunch, supper and bedtime. This takes care of my Dad's medicines just fine. I lay out his pills for one week at a time and we know there is no mix up about what he has taken or if he has taken them and when he has taken them. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Yes pill boxes would b good idea. Another simle way can b,to prchase some blank stickers from any printing workshop or stationary shop. You can write the name of the tablet/drug with big capital letters using marker pen,and paste that stickers on the tablet strips and also u can make the no. of small tiny circles for the no. of times that drug has to b taken in 24hrs.Goodluck Alok http://loveurpatients.blogspot.com
