Guest guest
cfs is linked with fibromyalgia syndrome (fms) and irritable bowel syndrome (ibs). herbs you can try are: calumba, clove (oil), dan shen, echinacea, panax ginseng tea, lentinan, licorice, maitake, oligomeric proanthocyanidins, scutellaria, siberian ginseng, st. john's wort. eat more fish for the omega 3 and gamma linoleic acid (gla). take more zinc and vitamin c. take 200 mgs of magnesium 3 times a day. avoid chocolate, soft drinks, caffeine and highly processed foods. avoid alcohol. magnesium, copper and zinc are minerals that are frequently reported to improve cfs symptoms. as always talk to your doctor and make sure whatever you try doesn't interfere with your meds. Guest guest
I was disabled with ME/CFS for 10 years. These are the things I tried that helped, but none of them were cures. 1. Anti-Candida / ketogenic diet -- very low carb, mostly protein. If it's sweet, don't eat--and absolutely no pasta, corn, rice, potatoes, bread, fruit. I ate mostly chicken salad with lemon/olive oil dressing. This helped double my activity level from 2 hours a day to 4 hours a day. Any anti-candida supplements also help--e.g. grapeseed extract, olive leaf extract. 2. Evening primrose oil. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. When it works, you can really feel the difference. 3. Hulda Clark's zapper. Gave me a sort of boost, like what a normal person gets with caffeine. Start VERY slowly, because it made me suicidal the first month from all the toxins it released. I used it for a year, and was able to work a flexible hour, part time job at the end of the year. In the end, I was miraculously cured overnight when I got pregnant for the second time. Even though the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, the remission continues to present (4 years and counting). I should note this didn't happen with my first pregnancy--I got a lot worse then. Hope this helps, Helen
Guest guest
I experienced CFS well over a decade ago.....4 years of delibilitating fatigue, muscle aches, headaches, allergies, etc., etc. It was homeopathic medicine which finally got my body back on track (and is the reason I went on to study homeopathy and to become a professional certified homeopath). I strongly recommend that you find a homeopath in your area. This time-tested method of complementary medicine works!
