Guest guest
I got a recipe from http://www.therapyessence.com They don't sell products so you have to mix it yourself. I hope it helps, Frank , " Terry M " <terrym259 wrote: > > Any suggestions on relieving red area around lips. Tried coconut oil, > pure shea butter and various chap sticks. Guest guest
Hi Terry Do you have access to an aloe plant? Cut the leaf open and apply frequently. This can relieve many (but not all) skin irritations. Linda>
Guest guest
Try homeopathic Sulphur 6c, three pellets under the tongue morning and nighttime, for one week. If the chapped and burning sensation starts to abate before one week is up, stop taking the remedy. The very good news about homeopathic medicine: if this is not the correct remedy (although Sulphur does cover red, chapped, burning lips), it will do no harm. Guest guest
Plain extra virgin olive oil. Do you lick your lips a lot? If so you may have a dermatitis from licking them. You may need to drink more water. Guest guest
one thought: i have been having a lot of insomnia lately, and have been taking some pretty hefty doses of valerian root...after a few weeks, i noticed the same problem with my lips, as well as the palms of my hands becoming extremely sensitive to soaps, having developed a burning sensation...on the off cahnce that you are a valerian user, you may need to taper your dose, or take a break.... doug , Jenny Kernan <rainysnana wrote: > > Plain extra virgin olive oil.
