Hi They say when your overweight there is something wrong with an organ something is not working properly. Just like you said your daughter eats more then your husband some find that hard to believe but I find it very true. Start cleansing out the organs start with the colon, eat vegetarian that will make this whole process work better but it doesn't mean a lifetime just to at least get your body back in alignment, Start juicing that will give the body more nutrients, drink water at least a gallon a day and exercise just start doing something even if it is walking up and down stairs and just keep upping the amount as you go. All this sometimes sounds a bit much but it works if you stick to it and keep searching, knowledge is power........ GinaStuck <Sstuck wrote: Hello, I am Stuck. I would suggest a complete change of diet before doing anything

else. I would suggest:

1. No processed food - that eliminates about 95% of what you find

in a grocery store.

2. Eat organic as much as is possible including veggies, fruit,

nuts, seeds, legumes, grains, meat and dairy.

3. Prepare everything from scratch with all-natural, unprocessed,

organic ingredients.

4. Eat as much raw food as you can, especially veggies, fruits,

nuts seeds. Grains and a few legumes (mung beans, adzuki beans,

garbanzo beans) can be eaten raw if sprouted first.

5. Drink lots and lots and lots of water. A standard rule is drink

half your body weight in ounces of water. So for someone who weighs

500 pounds, that's 250 ounces of water daily. That's a lot of

water. He's simply not going to be able to drink that much. But he

needs to drink as much as he can.

6. Eliminating all processed foods will automatically eliminate

hydrogenated and partially-hydrogenated fats. Do not be afraid of

good fats (olive oil, coconut oil, fats in avocados and nuts). They

will help you feel satisfied while nourishing your body.

7. Eat until no longer hungry, then stop. You should NOT feel

deprived. With increased nutrition, you should feel satisfied eating

far less food than you did when you were eating processed food.

8. View this diet change as a First Step. Get stabilized on it.

Then start looking at some further options. You will most likely

need to do some cleansing, but I'd get stable on whole foods first.

You may need to look at possible food intolerances such as wheat or

dairy. You may want to add some supplements.

Hope this helps,

Terri

About stomach stapling:

One thing that many people don't realize about stomach stapling is

that with the vast decrease digestive capacity, people who have had

their stomachs stapled must be intensely aware of everything they

put into their mouths. Each swallow must be nutritionally packed.

They cannot, simply cannot, afford to eat any empty calories. They

must pay scrupulous attention to the nutritional value of their diet

or they risk severe malnutrition problems.

If someone is going to have to be that careful with their diet after

the surgery, why not try being that careful with their diet BEFORE

the surgery. They might be surprised by the results.

Just my 2 cents worth,

Terri

Hi Stuck-

I live in Norwalk, CT.

My email is Rob and my phone number is 203 820-9016.

I am a natural healing facilitator and associate of Doc Shillington, the list owner.

There are many things we can discuss to get you guys on the right path.

My full time job is as an IT manager for a mortgage company. I do the natural healing stuff on the side because I enjoy it, so it won't cost you much.

The first thing to do with your husband is to do an intestinal cleanse, actually this is the most important part of any natural healing routine. It is very easy and simple.

Give me a call or write me an email, if you would like to discuss further.

Have a great day!! It is beautiful in Southern CT today!!

Rob

I agree with Gina. What I would like to add is, that it is important that you do the cleanses in order. Like Gina says, start with the bowel. I've been at the cleanses for 4 months now and am still not up to the liver. Order of cleanses I chose - 1 - bowel, 2 - kidney/bladder, 3 - heavy metal, 4 - parasite, 5 - liver, 6 - Candida. I suggest you do a major study on Candida. It is one of the major causes of obesity. You can incorporate the Candida cleanse anywhere in your cleanse program (it doesn't have to be last). Barb And don't forget sequence is important. http://www.the-natural-path.com/toxic-cleansing.html CAUTION - Sequence Matters! Remember, Colon Cleanse and Kidney Cleanse, then Liver Cleanse

And another thing. You may want to consider doing the Master Cleanse. It is claimed that fasting is the best way to get the metabolism going again. You can find all the info you need at this site. Barb http://therawfoodsite.com/mastercleanse.htm
