Guest guest
Good Morning, Gail. I went back through our community archives and put together all the detox baths I could find from our community members! I hope this helps: Suggested by: Jane darocksmom As for detox bath recipe: baking soda sea salt apple cider vinegar ginger (promotes sweating) Suggested by: Andrew Healing Remedies with Sea Salt http://health./message/16626 Suggested by: rainbow_hues4me For just a general skin type of detoxification and purifying we like using a basic salt type Basic Salt Soak Bath 1/4 cup sea salts (fine, course or medium) 1/2 cup baking soda 1/4 cup Epsom salts 1 to 2 tablespoons glycerin per bath 3 to 5 drops of your favorite essential oil per bath Combine the sea salts, baking soda, and Epsom salts in a container with a lid and shake to blend. Pour 1/4 cup or so into the bath while the tub is filling. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons glycerin to keep your skin from drying out (more for dry skin, less for oily skin) and essential oils of choice. Then if you really want to clean skin deeper take small amount of salt mix in your hand and scrub your damp skin a bit. Soak for 30 minute or longer, rinse with cool water. Epsom salts and Ginger This is one we liked for when you are sore and ache after a work out or something like that because it helps with pain as well and detoxifying the skin. Stir one cup of Epsom salts and 2 tablespoons of ginger in a cup of water first, then add to the bath. Do not remain in the tub for more than 30 minutes. SALT AND SODA: This is one I find soothing after I have been in the sun and I need to get the sun block and dirt out of my pores. 1 cup of baking soda and 1 to 2 cups of Epsom salts or sea salt to a tub of water. You can soak for 20 minutes. EPSOM SALTS, SEA SALT, AND SESAME OIL: This bath helps with dry skin and stress. Take 1 cup of Epsom salt, 1 cup of sea salt, and 1 cup of sesame oil and put into a warm to hot tub of water and soak for 20 minutes. Pat yourself dry. VINEGAR BATH: This is used when the body is too acidic. This is a quick way of restoring the acid-alkaline balance. 1 cup to 2 cups of 100% apple cider vinegar to a bathtub of warm water Soak 40 to 45 minutes.
