Guest guest
I've seen it at Whole Foods, Walgreens in the vitamin section, Publix Foods near the Jello. Knox Geleatin is used for making jelly so you might try looking in the canning section. Guest guest
You should be able to find Knox Gelatin at any old grocery store (it's not a specialty item). Typically, it's in the section where the Jello is (which, in my neck of the woods is along the same aisle as cake mixes, etc.) It comes in a small orange and white box. Each box has four packets in it. I actually started taking this Tuesday morning for my knee (which I had operated on Jan. 2 this year ... to remove a loose piece of cartilage that was jamming up my leg, felt like an ice pick). I'm doing OK, but " over did things " and was hurting. I've been taking the old standard of glucosamine, chrondrotin, boswellia, etc., etc. ... try to every day, but never more than once a day (I get so tired of taking pills!) Any way, remembered to pick some up -- mixed a pack in about 6 ounces of orange juice (mix in cold liquid ... water may be a bit icky) and drink it fast before it gels. You'll " feel " some stuff ... little pieces that have gelled already - but it feels more like pulp when you're drinking orange juice. So, I did that Tuesday morning and when I woke up Wednesday morning ... darn if my knee hadn't stopped hurting. I didn't know whether or not to be excited ... maybe just a fluke?? How could this happen so quickly? Needless to say I've taken some each morning since then -- and everything's holding together. I found two sites that talk about it if anyone wants to research further: http://www.beinghealthynaturally.com/naturalcures/arthritispain.htm This last one is a bit " loud " ... but the info is the same. Also sells stuff, I think it's the " Dead Doctors Don't Lie " thing: http://www.kingmaker.net/knox.htm Dede
Guest guest
you should be able to find it in most fairly large grocery stores in the jello and puddings section. Also many drug stores carry it. - ruthsmily Wednesday, February 28, 2007 11:16 PM Knox gelatin
Guest guest
You cant find Knox in a regular grocery store? Thats strange indeed. I don't think of Knox as being health food, but try the Whole Foods. I always get Knox at King Soopers or Safeway, its always in the aisle with baking goods near the Jello. Good Luck! ruthsmily <ruthsmily wrote: I live in northern Caliornia and am not able to find the gelatin. Can I have some ideas where I can find it? we have Whole Foods in the area.
